In level 7, where is the passage with the red pillar?

Ummm...loving this quest so far though it is really tough. Trying to find level 6, and I think Im close, but thinking i should have half magic or something by now. Was told to find Great Fairies but have no idea where to look in the Great Cave system. Theres a room that plays Great Fairy music but its empty....

You want to enter the Great Caves from the main entrance (so not diving in the eye or back). The entrance is in the water, south of Dhona's entrance. You'll come to the Great Fairy of Magic.

@jwex001:

The mirror shield is in the north area of B3F. To get there, from start go up one and fall in the hole on that screen. From where you fall, go up, right, down and go in the stairs. When you get to B2F, go down and right and kill the blue wizzrobe to open the portal. Following that path will take you to where the shield is at.

@claudio:

Pretty tough question to answer. The first thing you'll want to do is clear DoT2 if you haven't, but to find the dungeon you need to go to the ocean and take the right branch. Make it to the main island on that side and fully explore it in the path. It'll eventually lead to Gly'cov Village in the past.

@MrMario:

Go up two, left one from the entrance and enter the portal.

First step is to go to the isle in the mystic sea by going east in the Gly'cov Ocean. You have to use all of the portals in the present to hit four switches on the isle in the past.

Thanks to all for help with the mirror shield.  just \forgot about that turn.  Have a new question now.  In DOT 2, in the room right below the spikes, how do you open up that door?  I've tried everything i can think of to do it but to no avail.  Thanks.

Loving this quest!!!

Glad you're having fun! To open the door shoot the bottom left statue with your bullet ore, much like you had to do in the Great Caves to get the 1/2 magic upgrade.

Thanks alot Oberhode!  This quest is definitely up there in difficulty, but it's also one of the most legitimate-looking quests I have seen in the database yet (largely thanks to the opportunities 2.5 offers, but still.....)  Right now this quest is pretty much tied with Isle of Rebirth for quest of the year imo, and I will finish it no matter how many deaths it takes lol, right now I'm at 71 deaths and counting.....But yes, congrats on a job well done, your effort really shows!

@MrMario:

In the desert, northeast corner, you'll see a chest surrounded by hammer targets.....fall down the sand pit nearest there.  You'll end up in a cave where you have to use Farore's Boots to traverse.  Head right after getting to the top of the screen you fall into, over the spikes (hopefully you have the magic boots!), hit a switch to lower some blocks.  Then make your way to where you just opened and the character you meet in the next room will tell you how to get the Reversion Rondo.  If you've already gotten to that point, then I can't help you further lol I only am at that point in the sidequest.  Hope I was able to help! :slycool:

I think this question has been answered already in earlier pages, but there's too many to look through :P

I'm in Level 1 and I just got the Bomb Bag, I came across a locked door and I have no idea where the key is. Any ideas?

@Obderhode: I don't think I was specific enough. I meant the basement room with the red pillar you have to lower, not the switch ;)

@Soma Cruz: Thanks, but I've already been there. If you know what you require to get it, other than the hammer, then make sure to inform me. ;)

@EddyTheOliveira: Level 1 was soooooo long ago for me, so I'm not sure. The only one I can think of is the key you can get in the Swamp Caverns before the level. Did you get that one? If so, you might have to wait for Obderhode to respond.
Btw, love your YouTube channel ;)
