It's something I am considering; I'm still debating myself over what to add.

I finally did it. Now its time to get golden arrows and beat Oh God please Have Mercy on my Soul Land.

Even though I got the cane I tried not to use it on any boss fights and use it only if I got into a very bad spot.

When the enemies are fun to fight, the lack of enemy variation is not very noticeable (Example, L7 and the wizzrobes). But L8... mimics and vires aren't precisely the more excitant enemies in the quest xD Others as L6, have really forgettable enemies (tektites, moths, lanmolas... and that's all).

But in none of the levels, the enemies have a bigger impact than in L8. The abuse of vires really overshadowed L8 for me.

At least it's not peahats. Friggin' peahats.

Speaking of lvl 8, that maze was mean. Clever, but mean. I think my brain died the first time I tried solving it due to seeing the same screen over and over. Blew up that water blockade and I have the dungeon item so there's that, so now I'm wondering how much is left at this point?

Also, about the enemy variation, the top part is essentially mimic and armored armos's, and the bottom is vires (plus the keese) and mimics. That's about 2 enemy types for the top, 3 for the bottom and 4 in total, since the mimics are used top and bottom. Previous leveled had the blue shovel knight guys, red wizzrobe, blue, purple bat wizzrobe, keese, mimics, and jinxes. That's about 7 enemy types in the previous level. Yeah, I'd say there's a lack of enemy variety.

So I started playing this quest, and I suddenly lost all my Zelda Classic save data....

Use ShadowExplorer. It's a GUI for Windows Shadow Copy. Go back a day and overwrite your clean save file. BAM! Everything's back. I posted about this earlier.

After replaying L8 and loving it (yeah, I'm that way), there's not much reason to delay my rating. You deserved it.

I was expecting a more epic battle with the dragon the first time, though.  :P

If anyone has seen the movie 'Idiocray', there is a billboard that says, "If you don't smoke Tareytons, F-you!" I would have to say the same about his quest. If you don't play Isle of Rebirth, F-you! This is the best quest ever!

I'm honestly a big fan of that feature due to its authenticity. If my quest ever gets finished, expect the same feature in it. :blah:

You was trained various times about using the lens, when there are hammer pots smashed... and still, you don't catch it.  :P

If you think Twilight Princess is the standard of difficulty... well, it is expected than you find this quest hard. Nintendo games are painfully easy and they treat the players like they were stupid. Games should require at least a minimum effort from the player, IMO.

While I don't agree that all Nintendo games are like that, I definitely agree that Twilight Princess is a really bad example to use. It's a fun game, but pretty easy and most of its bosses are really pathetic. :-/

Hey guys, just saying, but he didn't use Twilight Princess for comparing the difficulty, he used it to compare how training the player in a dungeon to find the dungeon boss' weakness is done right. :)

Also, I think that the fact that F6 doesn't refill health is stupid and makes me die on purpose all the time, just to refill health when I'm at the entrance of an area.

I'm kinda with Avataro. Authentic, sure. But the no heart refill just makes me throw myself into enemies because I care more about having full health than I do about my death counter. But I've complained enough to Evan and he's made it abundantly clear that he doesn't care.

Anyways, started playing hero mode. Through level 2, it's actually not a whole lot more difficult. It just punishes you more for uncapping, which is an inconvenience, but oh well. I'm gonna see if I can't bring this all the way through to the end, Satanic bonus boss included.

Anyway, my dungeon ranking wasn't finished, now L4 is my second favorite...

But of course, Yeto's quest is the only quest in this site, that accomplished the task to unify the minds and forces of my friends and me, to try to overcome the challenge of that masterpiece.  :slycool:

Spoiler

But I don't want to eclipse Evan's work, it isn't fair... Don't provoke me, man.  :whap:

I actually like that F6 doesn't refill your health. I see F6 as a convenience (a welcome one) to allow you to save/restart your game at any time, but making it restore your full health easily lends itself to abuse, encouraging the player to not care about his health. I was actually thinking of having the same thing in my next quest.

I'm planning on putting that script on the database. It's a really simple script too.
