Which door acted like this in which place? Which keys did you get (and used up) from that place so far?
From now on I don't really trust you bug reports, you can understand...

Great Quest Shoelace!!! Hopefully, someone can help with key locations on Season Isle. I can't find the key needed to open the lower left Winter area. I think I've found 3 so far to get to this point. Froze the lava and got that one as well as the one further to the north. Also got one in a chest later on toward the west. Where is the 4th? Thanks anyone for a reply!

I'm curious. I'm in level 5 and wondering if I can get a better tunic now.

I don't remember where I got the blue tunic when playing for first... However I think I had it when getting to the red suit shop. Now I am here again, but I still have green clothes. I seriously think that I missed it somewhere. At Mt.Death, you are being called "greeny", so not until then. Maybe it's at Mt.Frost, but not sure.

jccarlatl: Probably you miss the key which you get when shooting the bug at spring in the most eastern area. The sign says there that you need to do this, but you aren't in sping at the time, so proceed to the next screens, switch to spring at the first trunk and go back for the bug'o'key.

The blue tunic can be gotten once you have the ocarina. Go play it in front of the Link Statue in town. Go from there.

The red tunic can be gotten once you have the flippers. Follow the instructions of the suit-shop guy just south of Mt. Frost.

I had all 6 keys from the dungeon, however it seems as if only 5 counted for some reason. I dont know which key it is as I wasen't paying attention to make sure my key count went up. The last lock before getting to spirit of life (i believe). It had 2 key blocks in a row, i think that was life. I dont think the bug had to do with the door, as i already had a key, only it didnt seem to display i had one. All I know is i had all the keys, but it didnt show on display that I did.

Taku of Misu: How could I forget! Shame for me...

Joe: Maybe the key count only can go up for 5. I don't remember that you need key to access the Life Spirit, but I am doing the game again, so that will be a good memory refreshment.

no, the fact that it just goes till 5 keys wouldnt be it. I had 0 keys according to the display. Yet i had all the keys in the dungeon that i could reach. It seemed as if i really had 1 and not 0.

Also, when does one get the L3-sword? I might be needing it but I think the master sword is the item for level 8 so I'm not sure.

Joe, so I am confused. Did you beat the level, are you still having trouble finding the keys? Well you said you got all of the keys, and you said you used them all, so I am taking you have the wand and the big key. So what is the bug if you have all of the keys?

KingBoo: You can't get the L3 sword until you get the items in the 5th level.

The bug was that it showed as if i had 0 keys, when really i had 1. Not sure if this is a zelda classic bug or a quest bug. i did beat it, and am continuing the game as normal, nothing else seems to be odd.

Cool, as long as it is working fine, and you can still play that's good. Anyways, good luck on the rest of the game. icon_razz.gif

hmm new problem.. (this time its not a bug haha)

im at level 8, i got 2 keys, one from each side, along with the master sword, but i could not find the other two keys. I read from an earlier post that there are two on each side, however i only found one on each side of teh top rooms. Any hints?

Okay, you said you got the top ones (I am guess you mean the top floor ones, that you have to solve the puzzles in the rooms that are dark), so you need the two keys on the first floor. They are on the very top corners of the level (2 screens to the right and left of the Master sword lock). The hardest one is the one that you have to get while running away from the spikes. You have to use the wand and hookshot to do it but you have to think fast. The other, you have to swim under the level to reach the room that you have to fight a perta(sp). When you do that you will get the key. Anyways, you can see where the chests are for the keys on the map. Hope that helps.

Edit: Nvm, I read your post again and you need the ones on the top floor. Okay on the top floor of each side, there are two rooms that look exactly alike, except one is dark. Burn the curtains with the fire boomerang to let the light in and you will see numbers over the blocks. You will have to push them in that order to open the door in the other room. Some accidently had the transparnetacys turned off (Which makes this puzzle impossible to do and making a lot of the game look dumb, hopefully it isn't turned off for you because the graphics would have been messed up), so if they are off, make sure to turn them on in the ZC program.
