Pretty minor but... In this screen, Link doesn't lift up the key. It's not the only place in the quest where this happens. I remember the map in Level 6, for example.

Also, this is more an aesthetic question... Wouldn't be more logical if the layer covers the entire screen?

The quest is a lot easier in the second run. I arrived to L4, I really want to replay this level, the first time, the damn invisible bombable wall slowed my pace...  :cat:

The first thing is a Zquest limitation. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to make the player hold up any item from under an armos.

The second, possibly, but it raises other logical issues. For instance, where does all that snow go when it hits the withered trees?

Um, also, when do I get to trade the jewelry I got from the coconut guy?

Sorry for my ignorance about the Armos, then xD

About the snow, maybe the surface isn't cold enough for sustain the snow... so, it becomes water outside the mountain. Another option is get rid of the layer in that screen. It's pretty minor of course.

The jelwery... after L6

Where am I supposed to go after level 5? I enjoyed the boss there, btw, after I stopped being stupid and realized how to dodg him.

I'm having trouble on the Bonus Dungeon boss. I can kill the bat easy with no damage and full potion. Then I can get about 20 arrows into the mouth with still 1 potion left. But after the Beast changes forms...I'm done for. How many arrows does it take? 20 I'm guessing?

The final phase has slightly more health than the final boss. Good luck! You're going to need it! The sword is also marginally more effective than arrows.

It takes a bit more than 20. The trick is just getting good at dodging his attacks and praying his AI doesn't decide to play mean. Try not to ever completely run out of magic, or else he'll summon death knights since you can't cane them. You'll also wanna get good at dodging his wind attacks; you can kinda manipulate him into doing that one a lot if you're lucky. Here, I can offer a video to kinda sorta help: http://www.twitch.tv/russ_42/c/3794020

I guess it would help if I had the Golden Arrows first huh...lol! Also, I got some kind of staff in that dungeon, but I don't see it in my inventory.

If you have Venser's Cane, it overrides it. It's basically an alternate version of it if you missed the original cane.

So, I replayed L4... and became a fan. It is one of those levels that are better when you play them in a second glance. In my first run I ignored that the hammer pots were lens markers, and I didn't use the meat against the gibdos ¬¬ We are not prepared for Evan's greatness mind. I'm a fool, man.

So in the end, maybe Russ was right. The dungeon flows really well, pure full of action and has clever tricks. I managed to beat the dungeon without deaths, also, feels so good...

WOW! I literally beat this with no potions left, an 1/8th of heart left, little magic and on my final swing of the sword beam! Question, where are the Golden Arrows? And what is up with the Play button and controls in the cave at the start of the game?

If you beat the game on normal or higher, you unlock the sound test when you finish the game which is what those arrows control.

The gold arrows can be found in the arena in the sky. They're about 50% stronger than your current arrows.

Wow... that's probably the closest I've ever seen that fight go

Head back up to the sky. Just south of the Starlight Temple, there's a portal sphere path. Follow that, you'll find an interesting challenge that will reward you with the gold arrows. As for the play button and controls, it's a sound test that lets you listen to all the music in the game.

Edit: I was first Evan.

So the Boss Run Arean?!? Are all of the bosses in there...I beat the first two then got bored. I guess I'll go back and try it out. I do have a saved file at level 11 on normal. I just couldn't beat that Medusa without going easy. I hope she is not in the boss run!
