I can't exactly find level three. I'm at Death Mountain and I saved the guy who carries the bombs and I bombed the rock north of the bomb shop, but I don't know where to go otherwise. It looks like I need the ladder, and I've looked around quite the bit. Is there some wall I need to bomb? Or some hidden passage? I cannot find any feasible path to get to the top otherwise.

And a secondary note, this is a wonderful play Shoelace. Immediately when I played the first dungeon, I knew this was going to be great. You have a knack for complicated dungeons that don't seem completely impossible, but would be a monster to create.

Thanks DobuGabuMaru.

Anyways, in the screen that you think you need the ladder. Talk the boomerang at the bug in the hole. A ladder will appear and the passage to the level 3 is right there.

This was an excellent quest, however I am hanging up my sword at Level 8 with two keys. I'm just not a good enough player to be able to avoid windrobes, while throwing a boomerang and looking for a path through a dozen or so blocks. Anyway, up to this point it was alot of fun and the puzzles were very clever.... tks shoelace.

OK, I need some strategic help. Final battle.......reflecting the magic part......1st hit, obviously no problem....3rd hit, slow fire wizzrobes, no problem....2nd hit, Octoroks on crack, PROBLEM. I've only advanced past the second hit twice, and that was only after SEVERAL attempts. In the process I used up way too much energy, magic, and potion. Naryu's Love is fine for not losing energy to the OoCs but by the time I dispose of them, he goes back to shooting the beam and I have to repeat the process. Even if I use Nayru's Love and don't try to kill them, they keep pummelling me, preventing a clean reflection. I want this game to end....preferably today. Any suggestions on where to stand or how to better handle this fight would be greatly appreciated.

Simply kill the magic octoroks as soon as possible. If they are currenty at the opposite corner of the area (or are killed) then stand in the middle turning to the right. This way you reflect the fireball from upright into downright.
Also you need: full potion, full magic, Nayru's love (as you said) and lots of bombs. I had 28, but that wasn't enough at some tries.

With the silver [arrow] and the key [from] the right side of the level, you can make it winter and go in the southwest corner of the level.  Follow the path to Din's Fire.

I made it Winter near the southwest corner and used the last key, but am blocked by a fence to go further south. Where is the path to Din's Fire from here, please?

It really isn't a puzzle to get to Din's Fire after that. If you put the key in the keyhole, you should be able to get to Din's Fire. Since it is Winter, did you walk across the water and get to that spot where the keyhole unlocked?

Neglected to go over to the right and shoot the bug so I could walk south on the ice--thanks!

You will have to hit the skull head with the boomerang to reveal a key to go on in the basement.

I hit the skull...But I might have not hit it with the boomerang.. Thanks Shoelace!

(As for the late reply, I had to go to another town for 3 days and didn't have acess to a cmputer)

I have a question on Level 4.

*edit*
wow that was stupid of me....

Next up, I have no idea what to do in this dungeon. I managed to get the first key, and open the first locked door, but I can't seem to go anywhere besides a few other maps. How do I toggle the yellow and brown floor pegs?

Level 4 is the Cerbat Shrine in the Desert.

New question about it ... what do you do in this room?
user posted image

If you step in the middle of the water, a target appears to hookshot across, but if you move in any direction after that appears, even back in the direction you came from, the green peg at the top pops up. I can't figure out how to get back out of the water to hook across without triggering the peg >.<

*edit*
I'm convinced I need to get through this room, because I can't go much further without another key, and I can't find another key! So I'll wait for some suggestions *twiddling of the thumbs*

Well, I did finally manage to beat the boss in level one. The switches on the upper half of the screen worked by hitting them straight ahead. The switches on the bottom half of the screen had to be hit from an angle.

I have finished level two and am now in the Golden Swamp. I have found a hidden heart container. I have been to the Golden Cave and tried to follow directions....... the arrow worked on the shield. Following that, I have tried to burn everything in sight but nothing seems to work. Suggestions? Thanks a bunch - this if FUN!
