Hyrule castle is the 8th dungeon, so only search it after completing level 7.
To acces it, you need to go east from Citadel entrance, use the wand on the red bush among the gaps, proceed to north, find the stairs, go along the tunnel and you are right in Citadel. Go north into the temple of light. If you have already completed the 3 Link Statues, then go northeast past the transparent bookshelf. This tunnel leads you to level 8.

I have defeated the Commander and now I am in "that" tower, but it's way too hard. I don't have any clue on what to do in the second lava room. The floor disppears and I only can push a golden block, no else. Using Nayru's love I pushed the grey block, too... But nothing happens.

I recommend beating L8 only after you search EVERY OTHER SCREEN for HCs and HCPs, as you WILL NEED IT.

For once I have a question (excluding the times I asked a few questions in chat): I am in the Last Level, on the fourth floor. I can't get past the room where the water turns into lava. I see that I have to push some blocks after some swimming, but I can't get to them all in time before the water becomes lava again. I also see an underwater button, which I have tried to push, but won't start the water sequence over, unless I am missing it somehow. What am I doing wrong here?

The button in the water should work. However, I don't think you can use it more then once. So I suggest pressing it and then swimming to the blocks. If you notice there is a hookshot thing. That is there so you can get to the button in time. If you are in dare help if the lava comes use Nayru's Love and dash towards the blocks. Hopefully that helps. That is basically the last puzzle room of the game, so you are about done.

By the way, I don't know if you guys noticed but I have posted a HCP walkthrough in a thread in my Hosted Forum, if you are in need of HCPs.

Hmmm... Level 8 ..... extremely painful! I have made my way to the castle, and gone right and upstairs to a room on the left where I can go no further due to invisible white blocks. To the left from the main entrance is basically the same, upstairs and then use the hookshot around (very carefully and quickly) only to get dumped to another room with blocks and darknuts (looks like a key is required). The only other path is through the water but after reaching the second water to lava puzzle I am stumped. Could this be the end of the road for me???? I hope not but holy **** I am feeling quite inept and stupid at this point. Take pity on me, and help me move forward..... I really really really want to complete this quest as it's the most difficult one I've ever "adventured into". thanks

I have noticed that HCP list about half a hour ago. According to it, I missed 11 HCP. Almost all are related to water, lol. I'm waiting forward the bomb upgrade guide...

CastChaos: The Bomb upgrades, Magic Containers, and Special items of Hyrule (Mushroom, Nayru's Love, etc.) are the next on my list.

peachstar: The white blocks don't stop you. If you look closely, there is a path that will lead to the door. That is why I put 4 torches for the fire boomerang, so you can check it 4 times and try to get through it. However, that is the path to put in the keys. Do you have any keys? These are where the keys are:

There are 4 of them in Hyrule Castle and you can get them in any order. Anyways, there are two keys past the 2 dark rooms of F2. On the F1, there are two keys on the top corners on the levels. One you have to get with the wand while you are running away from the spikes. The other you have to swim under the level and fight a patra.

^2 keys on the left side of the level, 2 on the right. To get to the left, you have to hammer the tougne statue. To get to the right, you need to swim under the floor of the level.

Okay, I beat level 4 and got to Windy Peak. But I'm confused on the magical sword cave. In the room north of the manhandlas with the blue torch, what do i do? Thank's in advance!

theryan: Sorry, but you need the wand from the 5th level to get the Magical Sword. It opens the door when you shoot the blue candle with it. You will need both items from the 5 level by the way.

i dont know if im missing something but i cant get past the first few screens of level 7. i go down and there are octoroks and the eye ball statue that blocks the way. i go even more down and i cant get past the hole. I cant get past the left area of the first screen either. i dont know what to do. Help?

Turbon714: On the screen with the Eye Statue and the octoroks, you can hookshot to the trees. That is how you pass the eye statue without being seen.
