I didn't want to update everything because again, this is more of a update rather than a remake. I watched two Let's Plays on Youtube, and watched where people got stuck and read the forums too, to see what People liked and didn't like and went of that. Like there are some new puzzles in some levels. Took out some puzzles that people didn't like, or if they just felt like nonsense, because I want my puzzles to be part of the levels, not just to be puzzles.
I know. I go crazy insane. I want everyone and everything to have a purpose in the game, and I like everything tying together. Crazy person I am...

Shoelace, I think it's really great that you went to all of the trouble to do this kind of "market research" and then act on it to try to make for an even better player experience with HoD! Kudos!

I'm sorry to say this, but hell no don't change the music to Season Isle! Tarm ruins is a perfect match to the place and a kick ass tune. I can't see any other song fitting in that spot. Just my opinion I guess.. icon_razz.gif

Thank you! It is better to have a game with quality then to have frustrating game. I still have a lot of puzzles, in fact, I added puzzles with this update.

I hope you will re balance the difficulty level.
It's not that enemies hit too hard, but some of the time constrains are a bit too... hard to deal with. I realize that I'm not a super good zelda 1 player, which I admit. But looking at the detail this quest have, I feel that if you balance out some of the puzzles/remaking them, it will give the player range of this quest a huge boost!

I did rebalance some things. I still want it to be semi-difficult. Watching the Let's Plays, I see where people have trouble at. A lot of the timed puzzles, I gave a little bit more time. But at the same time they are still timed puzzles, so you will have to do it again and again to try to get it. That's sort of the point with those puzzles, they are designed by learning from your mistakes.

I did make the timed spikes a little bit easier, so that should make you happy. XD But as for new music in Season Isle, I like it. Unless someone can find something better that fits, I probably will leave it.

Do you know when it will come out? I mean, you can't guess the exact date, but like early April, late April? Just want to know how long I'll have to wait for even more awesome!

I would say in the beginning of May, I will announce who the testers are, and then release it, when they are finished.
The reason why it is taking so long, is I am still working on a couple of things. I am working on the strings still, I am on Map 45, and need to Map 59. And I just keep adding things. lol. Like this is what I redesigned completely this week:

- Donmore's Cave
- Irony Cave

As they were very bland and not interesting. Now, I think they are good. Though, Donmore's Cave, I kinda designed it to be a little bigger than I thought I would have. lol.

Donmore's cave had a really awesome feel to it. I Really really liked how it came out although it was a little short. But, it still was a cool designed sub-level.

It actually still kinda has the same puzzle theme that it had last time, except it is a lot bigger. I also put a little bit of secrets in their for those storyline lovers that go back to places later on in the game. So it is about 16 rooms big that cave. lol. But that is why the side things, so it will be a little bit bigger than the other one. XD

Yeah, I want to play this again, I never finished and this will be the perfect opportunity to start up again!
Also, will the game have new Link sprites? Just wondering, the old ones look a little....squished.

Nope, Link Sprites are staying. But yeah, it is coming along. I am actually planning a huge release so I have to get everything in order to release it. The testing hopefully will start in May at some time. I just been adding and polishing more than I thought.

I'm looking forward to this. icon_smile.gif

I had gotten to Cerbat Shrine in the original before you made this announcement, so I'll just wait for the updated one to continue.

This is going to be so weird, but could you make the Cerbat shrine harder? I mean, it was f***ing annoying as hell the first time I played it, (I still love it though) but the third time, it's just easy now. Also, It might not be possible, but season isle, even the first time felt a bit to short. It's the greatest Zelda classic dungeon anyone has ever made, but I think it doesn't last long enough. It took like 2 hours the first time, but the second time it only took about 40 minutes to an hour.
