level 8 - yes, move those mirrors in a position which would better suit a 'loop' of magic and use that against him. with his OWN magic, he's bound to hit himself eventually, takes about 4-6 hits of his OWN magic to kill him. About 4 times that much if any other magic.

PS - yes, it was necessary, so very necessary for your very reaction it was.
PSS - well if you played the original quest and remembered a grumbling goriya, you'd remember that there was a feeding room to get past. So coming across that room, and knowing that previous knowledge, I thought it'd be simple to solve that puzzle. icon_razz.gif

Actually, in all honesty, I've never finished the original Zelda.......got stuck on level 6. If Link actually swung his sword like he does in this instead of that pansy little stab, maybe I could beat it. *sigh* Bloody Wizrobes.

The Boomerang is in Erosion Level-1 near the boss chamber. The bow is in Zenith Level-5.

I'm stuck in level 2 of, well, quest 2. I've been wandering around aimlessly for a while now. I've explored basically every room except the most north-west area of the dungeon. I have one key, and have used 3. Any advice to lead me to my goal? Oh, and how do you get that treasure chest in the most south-east room? Hookshot sure ain't working, and there ain't an invisible floor..so yeah.

There is an invisible floor in that room with the chest. Just walk along the walls!

it seems for the 1st quest, the first hurdle is level 6, then level 8.
For the second quest, the biggest two hurdles are probably levels 2 and 4. With level 6 coming up third place.

Go back to where you got the Magic Boomerang and hit the switch orb to make the blocks lower near the Boss Room. There are two bosses in Level-3. One is a puzzle and the other is the Dodongo Squad.

Yeah.....I kind of need to find the boss room first, ya know? I seem to have checked everything, with both the switch on and off, but can't find my way there.

Ah-hah! Heh, I never noticed that switch there. Gracias BB!

Well, completed level 3. Time to head to the mountains and take down #4. Well, I'm optimistic now....but something tells me that I'm going to go insane on level 4.

Yes....something indeed tells me...

Well, for some reason, playing this made me want to finish the original Zelda, and sure enough, Ganon got pwned. *sigh* But now....I don't know which one's hard mode I hate more, the original, or this one's.
