I got stuck on this part in my recent playthrough. I'll suggest try thinking outside of the box.

This is an example where the diving rule isn't consistent. Jamian has already set the belief that diving spots are very small holes in this dungeon. But in this case, the diving spot is quite larger. If you're still unsure. I suggest diving everywhere you can until you get it.

On another note, not sure if this will work. But have you tried asking Zelda?

There is a screen with 4 spumes and a chest. Go to it's left adjacent screen and dive there.

Now with both the Bombs from Plant Cavern, and the Awakening Sonata from Palace of Harmony. Link is now ready to sneak into Urzula's Castle and free Zelda. But Link must find a way in their first. Link would eventually explore Hyrule's caverns and eventually find the secret entrance to Urzula's Castle.

• Used Awakening Sonata to obtain Gasha Seed in a cave. 
• Got Grass Cutter Ring from a seed from Buzz Blobs in Palace.
• Got Trap Ring from seed found in treasure chest inside Palace.
• Obtained Heart Container for cutting grass for a lady in Nabooru.
• Obtained Gasha Seed in Nabooru's cave.
• Obtained Magical Shield in Mysterious Pond.
• Obtained Big Wallet in Mysterious Pond. 
• Got Gasha Seed deep inside Nabooru's cave after a portal warp.
• Obtained Large Bomb Bag at the Pond of Happiness.
• Learned Whirlwind Rhapsody in hidden cave North-East Hyrule.
• Discovered secret entrance to Urzula's Castle.

Can anybody tell me what to do here? I feel like I've already scoured the dungeon again. Tried going to 3F to drop down from above, and room to the left of this one is still unvisited. I must be missing something dumb like usual lol. =(

 

 

yup dumb like usual. didn't do it yet but obviously need to play the ocarina and get the key to move to the block. looking forward to more overworld exploration after this!! this is definitely in my top 3 favorite quests already.
