Edit: So I'm now looking through past dungeons to look for some Heart Pieces and I came across this in the Ice Peak:

I'm now wondering if that switch has any significance or if it's just a fake switch to troll you?

 

Also, I got the Heart Piece in Darkmoor Caverns, but I'm wondering if there's another Heart Piece in the other dungeon underneath.

 

And one more thing: How are you supposed to find out the maze path for the Maze Cave?

It's a trick switch. It does nothing

There are no HP in the second section.

Jeeeeesus, that's gonna suck...

 

Anyway, one more thing, I would suggest including a Heart Piece guide or something because finding all of these Heart Pieces is a real pain, especially when you have no idea if you've been there already or not.

I would really recommend it, since I hate to wonder around for hours and hours without knowing where all the pieces are

 

Edit: As for the Maze Cave, I somehow found the solution by accident

 

Edit 2: More questions: What's up with the Red Armos outside of Level 6 and at the start? I never found any way to interact with them.

So... why can't I get outside of death valley after I beaten the dark world stage?  I am having a hard time with masked man battle and I would like to go back to the overworld and check to see if I missed any items but I can't.  The masked man battle is very hard. If there was a warning in the game stated that I couldn't go back to the overworld before I beaten the boss in the dark world, I wouldn't have beaten that boss in the first place.

The red armos are after-game stuff.

You can't leave death valley after you get there. There is a free potion shop outside the great palace, so I would recommend to get those while fighting the masked man

Two refills isn't enough for me currently.

Yes but it doesn't help much against spikes (I have problems centering in one room).  The grey darknuts get me since I don't have the hammer.  I just tried again.  I gave up on the 4th try because the bottom right block WILL NOT MOVE even after I try to center.  Course I keep getting hit by the spikes.  Seems like no one else is having this problem or they are not speaking out.

Well, if you made it to the splitters, then you've made it passed the block rooms, so I"m a little confused as to where you are in the boss fight.

if you enter the top pic from the top and look around, you might find something.

The second picture has nothing. it just looks funny

The third picture is the hint that every dungeon entrance has a brown skull rock on the screen (more importantly where the Lv8 2nd entrance is.
