I found a way to F2 already, but I am in need of a key and I have no hookshot. :C

I returned to Prismatic Gate (before L12), Venser was there, I won and I got his cane anyway... 

... Well then. I think all of us beta testers owe Evan an apology for this massive oversight. You're not supposed to be able to do that. But hey, congrats on finding a bug and getting your cane. Let me tell you, without the gold tunic, he's MUCH harder
 

What exactly is the base damage of the Cane? I'm guessing it's between 8 and 12, but haven't been able to really test it. Even if it does a lot of damage, it uses magic up too fast for me to like using it outside of bosses.

It does double the damage of the final sword. As for magic use, rather than hold it out all the time, constantly turning it on and off can clear out enemies just as effectively while being much more magic efficient.

If I remember right, you can go to the left side of floor 1. There's a puzzle with angel statues and blocks that rise up to block your path (or maybe doors that close, can't remember exactly which). If you go to the right side of floor 1, there's a room with angel statues and a path way on the floor that shows you where you need to walk in the other room to get through.

It sounds like this cane of venser works a bit like the lens of truth, in that you should constantly turn it on and off to use it quickly and not permanently. The lens of truth is an item I did not enjoy in ZC, but I loved it in Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. They drained the magic much much slower.

Russ, I already did that puzzle you are talking about, so there must be something else, elsewhere that I am missing here. This is my current map of the main floor:

Would be nice if you can go to fight with Venser anytime after L9. So, less skilled players can have a better chance with the golden tunic and Nayru's Love. But I suppose than that doesn't have much sense in the storyline xD

We don't owe nothing, we were too damn intent on getting that damn cane to check anything else, if anything, Evan owes us an apology for making us go through that! D:<

I got the Cane on the second try, so it's not that hard all the time. I was still making a strategy when I beat him. And this is doing it right after beating the Level 9 boss, not using the bug or whatever and coming back later. Basically, it's just Super Bombing him, spamming Wand and tanking off the other enemies when you're about to get hit by him if you can predict that.

 

Alright, so 12 damage then. I'm also aware of that, just I still don't really like using it. If you get hit by a Bubble when it's on too, you're gonna lose all of your magic.

I am in the Chapel in the room in the picture.  According to the hint the candle on the flame should open the path.  Tried many times from different angles, what am I doing wrong ?

It burns out when you walk away, so light it on fire and move away so that it burns out into your open flame.

As I said before... I'm an obsessive completionist. So there's no way I don't get something. Probably the bug was caused for my completionist powers, it's my destiny... 

 

I predict a fun time with the bonus dungeon.

Well to be fair, if you miss getting the cane from Venser, there's a second cane hidden in the bonus dungeon, so you can still get 100% completion even if you lose to Venser. As for the bonus dungeon itself though... I can't imagine trying to get through that without using the cane. Ugh, that place man...

So I got to the level 11 boss with the refight and it seems fairly buggy. The light reflecting off the mirror will only occasionally kill the enemies (A Ghini even rested right where I was reflecting the beams, plus a Gibdo walked through the beams and grabbed me). It also reflects off your shield even if there's no light if you stand towards the top left and top right corners. Haven't been able to get through it since ZC drops to 10-20fps if there's any mirror shield stuff going on, then jumps up to 60fps once it the light stuff is gone.

 

The level 10 boss refight also messes heavily with the position of the Hookshot when you fire it too. 

 

and I still don't see how to get through Moldorm Prime either there without just tanking it even with the Cane. Seems like Hookshot grabs are missing in that room or something to make it more doable.

I just finished level 8 and got the silver arrows. I didn't bother reading anything she said and now I'm lost on where to go. I have a Yoshi statue and Gorgon braclet...what do I do with those too?

Take the Yoshi Doll to the house just outside the gate to Northern Remdra, in Southern Remdra. The Goron Bracelet goes to a Goron in the Goron Cave System, but I forget if you can access it yet. As for level nine, head to Castle Remdra.
