That's strange. It works just fine for me; I'm using Zelda Classic 2.50.1, the final version that came out not long ago. There is another way onto the mountain, but you need to get the flippers and use a water warp.
god idea,, I'll change this players, despite is a 2.50 players... it may ge corrupted once in a while,,!

finally I had to go trough water to make to third pendant ---got the sword at lost woods already!
didn't see anything inusuall.. just some thing must be done aon different way also first sword is a level one no surprise no more dificculty...... keep going after this

You must be pretty good at ZC quests if you think it's not any harder! I have trouble going through it myself and I made the thing.

well..! I never said this was an easy one,, but compared to ""cole castle"" on the soul of widsom quest and demo quest,, this one is easier,,,, I think!! -- but ur quest got wsome Amazing" things like turning day from dark at the spot you want..!! that's super
little example...you are at level-7 already... only need to use that mirror to turn (day or night) INCREDIBLE"""

well...! I see another update for this quest ( 20 Dec 2014) that means back in combat !

Any chance of getting amulet prior to level 6? Invisible enemies are spammed everywhere here! Also 1/2 magic upgrade location?

There's a cave in the light world that you needed the hammer to access. Best to go in there with fire rod
1/2 magic needs the power glove. In the light world, you may have noticed one cave closed off by trees.

Already checked that cavern. Got killed 6 times by invisible Ice Gibdos. Nothing more frustrating than inescapable eating monster!

WOW! this quest from my friend Bagel .. is super , will replay again < this ques got incredible combinations no seen in another one , is fantastic

I just finished replaying this, and oh boy, this was so much fun to play again. Really like a lot of the improvements since last year (colored chests for the potions, the new boss that guards the mirror...I'm sure there are other things I'm just forgetting). Seems like the difficulty was nerfed considerably, but that's not really a pro or con for me. Love the soundtrack - I made sure to add all of those files to my VGM library. Great stuff!

started one hour ago to replay,, beat the three pendant dungeons,, now need to go to lost woods to get the sword , that for tomorrow ------ love this quest,,!

Ice gibdo is immune to hammers, already tried.
Also, Magic Armor is beyond useless, thanks for it`s prohibitive magic drain rate ( more than 1/4 of magic PER HIT, 55% per hit w/o 1/2 magic upgrade), while providing "only" gold ring protection. Furthermore, it cannot be deactivated for sake of magic preservance, so it`s pretty much harmful permanent curse as soon as you open the chest containing it...
Edit: Where is the Magic Cape? Lensed all known lava-falls, near Level 4 and nope...

Hmm, unless Bagel altered that gibdo, hammer should work, but takes a few hits. Lantern also works. Fire rod is 1 hit KO.
Magic Armor is only useful after getting one specific item from another bonus dungeon, as that item is essentially infinite magic. Having cane of byrna is useful
I don't think magic cape exists.

You mean Secret Tunnel? I am guessing, it wouldn`t have any use outside Ganon fight. Already defeated Ganon.
Gibdo: Candle cannot reach eating Gibdo, because flame spawns in wierd position. Fire Rod`s magic is also cannot reach him due to the same problem.
