Any hints or tips on opening the western stairwell in the second part of Level 8 (with the mirror wizzrobes)? I know your supposed to reflect magic at the fires, but how?? This level is truly a pain. I've found 2 keys, but not the second dungeon item.

Hmm...bouncing your wand shots off the mirrors in the corners should do the trick.

thanx for the directions for the mirror puzzle but now i'm stuck in the link statue in moblin forest. i can get past the first bridge and to the second bridge but i can't find the path to lower the barriers there. also i must be kind of dumb cause i can't figure out how to get into the dungeon on sorrow isle (small and with as little as there is.) thanx again

Mini-walkthrough: You'll need to hit three switches to reach the end of the statue stage.

Switch 1: From start, go one screen east then one screen north. Stand in the light in the lower left and play your ocarina. You'll warp to the Dark World: from there, one screen south, hookshot across the gap, then play the ocarina in the upper right light. Go one screen east and play the ocarina in the eastmost light. Go one screen north and hit the switch.

Switch 2: From Switch 1, go one screen south, warp back to the Light World (use the same light), then one screen east. Stand in the cross-shaped light in front of the tree and play the ocarina. Hookshot across the gap and play the ocarina on the western edge of the platform. Go one screen north and hit the switch.

Switch 3: From start, go one screen north. Stand in the light in the upper right and play your ocarina. Go one screen north, stand in the cross-shaped in front of the northern tree, and play the ocarina. Go one screen east. Play the ocarina in the northern light and hookshot across. Go one screen east, play the ocarina in the light and hit the switch.

Exit: From start, go one screen east then one screen north. Play the ocarina in the center of the flower patch. Go one screen east then one screen north. Go as far north as possible, then play the ocarina. Go one screen east and play the ocarina in the westmost light. Go one screen south and play the ocarina in the northern light. Enter the house.

If you've finished the other Link statues, it's time to raid Citadel. The item you'll be given there should shed light on your Season Isle problem.

Oh, and completion stats for the sake of record-keeping:
14:17:58, 45 deaths, 20.25 Heart Containers, 5 Magic Containers.

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue] icon_biggrin.gif icon_razz.gif This may sound reallystupid but, I have had no problems so far until I got to Wolfbin Boss. I have shot him with tons of arrows, seems like they go straight through him. I have been standing in front of him. Any help would be appreciated.

lol, were you about to post something in huge blue fancy letters? icon_blah.gif Well, thanks for not posting it in all caps. @_@' Fun.

He's actually not too hard. Try to avoid the flames, but definitely keep attacking his eye. Try to align yourself vertically with it and aim directly for the dead center of his forehead. It'll crack sooner or later. icon_wink.gif All the hitflags or enemies (Whatever they are.) are aligned along that strip, and that's where everything you need to hit is, so...

The thing stopping you from hitting him is more than likely the Gleeok 2 that's spitting fire at you. I think that they're immune to arrows, so -if- you do his his single head, the arrow will be stopped. Thus, keep hitting him and hope that you don't hit the Gleeok 2 's invisible head.

While running from the flames, try to take a shot at his eye from the sides of the screen, so you can avoid hitting the Gleeok2 instead of the boss. He was tough, that was my first death in this game.

Level 4 boss

I know it's been discussed previously, but what else can I do to beat this critter? I've bombed, hit, and run and sometimes don't even get to the bottom of the screen before I get burned to a cinder. There doesn't seem to be a pattern here and nothing I try works. I've made it as far as feeding a second bomb, but after hours of repetition I'm still nowhere. Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

Place bomb in mouth even before when he opens it, then slash/stab and then run. 1st round: run one corner, 2nd: 2 corner, 3rd: 4 corner. I don't remember if theres a 4th round... Anyways, it's easy.

OK, this has probably been asked before, but:

I'm in Season Isle. I have the Silver Arrows, but don't have Din's Fire. I shot the bug and made it to a lockblock, but have no key. I've looked all around, but I can't find it.

BTW the Season idea is brilliant!

I am truly stuck on the boss in level 1. Three of the switches light up after hitting them in rotation but the fourth one just stays gray........ I am having a blast with this quest but am really ready to be done with level 1! Thanks a bunch for any ideas.

The last key you get in the level is the key with the bugs that you have to kill with the arrows at the rightmost part of the level. The lockblock is on the left bottom corner of the Winter Season. Anyways, you said you killed the bugs, did you get the key? Because that is the last key.

konza: Hmm... That's weird because no one had a problem with that. Are you sure you hit all of them? Also, are using anything other than 2.10 like I said?

I meant I killed the bug that lowered the blocks so I could cross the bridge.
