ok thanks. my brains doesn't work anymore. where are all level 5 entrances? and do i suppose to find The Ring of Floatation in turtle rock?

The first one is obvious; it's in the ocean. From the first (tiny) island you reach, go to the left, then go up as soon as possible.

The second is in one of the Cardinal Shrines, aka North, South, West etc. You have visited the one you need to be already.

The third one is somewhere near the Tower of Time. However, you cannot reach it from the village itself due to the walls. Take a close look at the map and the city entrance; can you find a way around them?

The fourth and final one is up on Gly'cov Mountain (AKA: Present age Death Mountain). However, you'll need a new item to open up the entrance at all.

In all cases, you need to do something in the previous entrance to use the next one, be it pressing a switch or getting an item. Although it's possible to get to Entrance 2 and 3 before using Entrance 1, you cannot progress past the first screen if you do so.

Did you guys see my last post? (Attached) Struggling to find all the ice fairies.

I think I found a bug with one of these treasures…   http://postimg.org/image/v9dkslmkh/

If you go to this house before you have a magic key, and light the candles. They stay lit… stopping you from getting the chest later...

Think someone else mentioned it, but not sure if you fixed this bug yet?

Also, Ive got the enchanted candle, wand and hammer. Can't remember where the rest of these chests were?

Plus having trouble completing the ice fairy… Found the fairy in the mystic sea, the one in Byrov wastes, and the one on death mountain. Not sure where the one in the secluded forest is...

The one in the forest is on top of the tower on the rightmost side. You will need to travel through the petrified forest and find a portal over there.

Here's the ones I can remember from the top of my head:

Spoiler

That leaves just one... Which one am I forgetting?

As for the bug with that one chest; that's been fixed for a while now.

Also, I found a glitch in the Gly'cov Swamp (Past)'s Raft routes. Namely, the left raft port on the island with the owl statue has a tendency to send you up instead of left, in the process sending you from the left side of the Swamp to the right side, with no route back other than going back to the present.

EDIT: Also also, speaking about the Petrified Forest; what's up with that path at the far eastern end of it? Just before where the tower would be in the present, that is. It makes me feel like I should be able to go there, but I quite obviously can't.

Aww, I thought I fixed the torch thing, but it seems I didn't!

Anyway, did you have any luck finding the last fairy? Like they're saying, you want to get to the top right side of the forest and take the portal there to the Petrified Forest. Then, you'll be able to find a portal that puts you standing on top of Level 8, where the fairy is.

@Neobullseye:

Yeah, it serves no purpose. :)

I don't have dins fire yet.

I updated my quest file, and its still a problem with that chest.

And now, Im stuck with the maze path through the forest… WWEE doesn't seem to work...

That's because there's more than one maze path, one after the other. Consequently, there's also more than one set of four eye statues hidden throughout the forests, both past and present.

As for identifying which path belongs to which screen; Take a close look at the screen with the maze. Aside from the most obvious things, what smaller details can you spot?

Really, at this point, I can't be naffed.

I'd rather go back and play level 8 of Isle of Rebirth: The Sunken Basin.

Just wanna get on with level 8, find the 3rd dungeon of trials, and give Ganon a nosebleed cause this quest is starting to tick me off a little.

Wonderful! My zc.sav file has been corrupted again.

Does anyone else persistently get this message:

"The save file was found, but could not be opened. Wait a moment and try again. If the problem persists, reboot. If the file still cannot be opened, then you'll need to delete zc.sav"

At this point, Ive decided to submit my review:

Level 1:

Upon first playing this level, I was really impressed. One of the few levels in the game I actually enjoyed as I understood all the mechanics used to build it. The only tricky part was the boss. Hard given the fact you only have 3 hearts. But a good level none the less.

Level 2:

I was surprised by the ancient cave. The puzzles were tough, and figuring out stuff was intense. Good points: The multi floor aspect. The mazes were do-able, and once you collected the power bracelet, the level was practically done. Bad points: Was tricky figuring out how to buy super bombs for the first time, finding the last key for 1F (even though you'd been past it loads of times earlier in the level, and the boss hp was too high (but I understand this has since been lowered).

Level 3:

I died a ton of times here. Finding all the keys I needed to get the hookshot was a pain, but pleased when I got it. The ladders were tricky to navigate at times, and the boss was truly a pain. (again addressed earlier in this spoiler)

DOT1: Very clever design, and couldn't help but feel I deserved the white sword earlier.

Level 4: This was a good level. I enjoyed the time travel aspect of it given the fact it mirrored one of the levels in OoA.  Tricky making progress, but when you've got the boots, the level just opens up. The boss wasn't too tough either, just have to dodge him. Well done OB!

Turtle rock: I appreciate what you were trying to do here… I just found the multiple entrances to be frustrating, particularly when you trek halfway across the world, and then die in the entrance you've just made it to. All the more satisfying tho when you actually beat it, and shut off the source of the storms! Difficult to stay on the moving platforms with out being bullied off by the bats. But Kudos to you OB for the awesome maps you've uploaded and the help you've given to me and all the forumers.

Level 5: This place was a mind f***. i found all the keys in the first entrance, and made it to the second entrance only to be stuck as I didn't know how to kill the eyegores. But once, you got the ember seeds, this level opened up, and it wasn't too tough. Even the boss wasn't too hard for me. Just keep him in the middle and pelt him with penetrating ammo and using potion where necessary. Another inventive idea to have 4 entrances to one level, just a shame that the entrances didn't tally with where a bouts in the level you appeared. For instance, the west shrine entrance put you on the eastern side of the dungeon map.

Level 6: I enjoyed the intro to this level. Getting the boots from farore's pyramid was a nice idea, and a clever idea getting the player to climb to the top. The magic cave in the present however was perhaps one of the toughest levels Ive ever seen in a ZC quest, perhaps not as tough as the sunken basin in Isle of Rebirth due to the backtracking not being as roundabout, but still challenging. The idea of having the eyes lie to you in the maze was a bastard, but really cool when you figure out whet you have to do. The toughest part I though was going back round for the mirror shield. But then the level fell in to place… Just a quick visit to the DoT2 to get the level 3 sword and blue tunic and the boss took a beating...

Level 7: I really enjoyed this level. I totally understood everything I had to do, and it just fell into place. The old ethos of going the wrong way through walls worked a charm here.

The only thing that tripped me up here was the room with no floor. Had to jump over it to get an essential key. Wasn't easily apparent that you could jump it tho…  The boss key room alarm system was another good idea… didn't see it until i accidentally found the map in another side of the level.

If I feel up to it, I might play this quest again, at some point, but I just feel the difficulty curve is way too tricky… Kudos to OB for building a truly challenging quest, and well done to those of you who've actually beaten it! You are true ZC experts!

Screw it, just started a new save file…  bored...

Spoiler

As for that exact message, I don't know. I've lost my save files a few times, yeah, but I'm not sure if that exact message pops up. Also, the few times my save files did get corrupted, the program just acts as if there was no save file to begin with (That is, all the files are just gone, leaving me with a blank naming screen).

About those first boss; am I the only one who didn't have a problem with him at all? He practically gets neutered if you have the magic shield :P. Similiarly, I had no problem getting that final key from Level 2, if only because I thought you had to get it as soon as you get the boomerang (thus refreshing my memory of it), and killing the Eyegores came intuitively to me too (Yay for Zelda 3 :D). See, that's a thing that I've noticed with at least the enemies; In most cases, figuring out their weaknesses is relatively easy (except for the boss of Level 3, who I died several times to before even thinking of the Candle). It's figuring out their patterns and avoiding damage that's the hard part. At least this quest didn't spam Death Knights in the final dungeon because nothing else stands a chance if you give the player the Golden Ring (1/8th damage, which is just insanely low) and Master Sword, simply by not giving the player said items. On the other hands, those moths are practically flying Death Knights in terms of how evil they are without Din's Fire or something like that. Meh, at least they're mostly limited to one dungeon.

So, on that note, what's your guys'/girls' favourite enemy, least favourite enemy, favourite (mid)boss and least favourite (mid)boss? Mine are/were (I don't know how much these things are changed in the latest version):

Favourite common enemy: Ignoring unedited eemies because those are boring, I'm going with the Danmaku Ghini. As weak as they are once you realize their weakness, they still give off quite a WTF-factor upon you first meeting them.

Least favourite common enemy: Crystaroc (all kinds), the moths. -- The Crystarocs mess with your items, which is always annoying as hell. In between getting killed with your own Super Bomb or wasting an incredibly expensive potion, they're pretty dangerous too. As for the moths; they love to home in on you, hit you, then fly off behind you just before you can hit them.

Favourite (sub)boss: Well, I liked most of them, to be honest -- or at least when you find out the tricks to fighting them. Seriously, it really resembles a standard Zelda game in that regard; once you know the tricks to the bosses, it becomes pretty easy to at least beat them, and, if the boss isn't too spammy with its attacks, to perfect them too. In that regard, it's hard to really pick a favourite one.

Least favourite (sub)boss: The Level 7 boss, at least before the most recent patch. I didn't bother to replay the game to test if he's still as bad. As far as annoying enemies go, the Mothrobe is a serious contender, especially in his last room. Stupid teleporters...

Or in my case, as stubborn as a mule :P

Also, Obderhode: Could you make a special, possibly rewardless 'dungeon' that allows you to infinitely refight the bosses of the game (that is, they respawn after being defeated, possibly even as soon as you leave the room)? You know, just a place for fun and/or practice.

I loved reading your review Joki. I'm really surprised about the fact that your game gets corrupted so much though!

@Neobullseye:
I wouldn't be against adding that in the next update! Even though that was the Dungeon of Trials #3 theme, you can't refight them. :)
