You'll find the means to open that pit in the heavens. You get the better tunic after that pit (assuming you fought the other gold monsters), and the final sword can be received after level twelve.

So out of curiosity, has anyone done a video showing how to beat the bosses the best way without getting hit or getting hit very few times? There are a few bosses I never really figured out how you'd get a no hit on even with memorizing their pattern. Moldorm Prime is one of them that I'd like to see the best way to do, especially the refight version of it since he seems to be able to just mow you down no matter what you do.
(And by best way, I mean without intentionally tanking and using the Cane hoping it'll die fast. Surely it's possible to do the refights without the Cane too, right?)

Even if it isn't absolute perfection by someone else, it'd be helpful. I tried the refight arena and can't really seem to get past Moldorm Prime without losing 15-20 hearts. The first boss refight, I can no-hit on since you can just charge your sword and let him run into it however.

If you got Venser's cane, use that. That's what I did when I re-fought Moldorm Prime. (It's a machine, so magic and bombs can do mega damage). Because holy hell is that thing a beast during the rematch.
But otherwise, you have flippers. Just dive and get out of the way while it's floating around.
I can safely say that bosses like Frostknuckle and Medusa, ones where the rooms have a hookshot target on the wall, I'd highly suggest hookshotting if you're good at it. For one, going from one part of the room to the next would help in getting you out of trouble. Then there's taking advantage of the invincibility frames the hookshot gives... >_>

The Moldorm Prime rematch isn't too bad if you hack his tail with your master sword. If he's still giving you trouble, Nayru's Love is a thing. Most of the bosses are monsterous in the rematches, but they all have some vulnerability to some of your newer weaponry.

As much as I do like level 8, the comparison to Yeto's Quest is hilarious. Good job. ![]()

Does hitting it in the tail do more damage then hitting it elsewhere? Problem moreso is he doesn't let me at his tail as well and just decides to plow into me constantly. I tried staying away then Wand and Bombing, but he still outspeeds me in every way. When he decides to plow into me there's really no way to avoid it that I see.
If the Sword just does standard damage, I see the Wand being far superior here anyway if it does its standard damage as well. Last Sword is too weak to make up for the advantage the Wand has over it.

I was kinda trying to do it without the Cane since it's an overpowered missable item and it should be possible without it, right? I tried using the water as well, but he hovers above if I dive and I get hit that way too.

Every hit to the body deals minimal damage. If you want to get anything done, hit the tail.
As for using the cane, the postgame content is tough. The boss arena is definitely very doable without the cane, as is the bonus dungeon. However, you get a second shot at the cane in the bonus dungeon. This is done for a reason; the bonus boss is tough!

Finally I beat that blasted pumpkin boss. Only took me 50 or so tries to do it.
If someone does this on a Heartless% run with the green tunic and wooden sword on Hero Mode, I will eat FIVE feathers.

I just finished level 10, so I still have a little bit left.
I haven't recorded any regular bosses, but I will see what I can do about the rematches.
