Great game, DFW. However, I'm stuck in level 1 on the first quest. I cannot reach the westernmost room where the Boss Key is located. The door to the room is closed, and I cannot find the trigger to open it. The room outside the room I'm trying to reach has the two stationary "push bricks", two statutes, and two treadmills running opposite directions. I have everything else in the dungeon. Thanks in advance for your help!

Push the right block to open it.
Do you have the arrows? The statue needs to be hit in the eye with an arrow. That is where the Boss Key is.

Thanks, Bowser. I thought I had tried that, but apparently Link just didn't eat his Wheaties yesterday morning. icon_smile.gif

So the house, by the cows, in quest 1, the one selling the magic, blue, and red potions: is it NOT supposed to sell? Because I hear the chime, but no purchase prompt. Thanks.

Oh, and by the way, I'm hitting all the targets in the boomerang game, yet after I've already successfully hit the 6th one, I'm told I was too slow! How was I too slow if the next target hasn't come up? Oh, and having the slave through 5 screens of text and the annoying "hold the orange thing up like it's really something special" each time really adds way too much time to repeat gameplay.

Do you have the Bottle? If not, go to the NE part of Hyrule and find it. You need to Bomb a mountain wall.

The Magical Boomerang will help you win this mini-game.

Yeah, the boomerang game is jacked. I heard the "successfully hit the target" sound, the next target will not advance, then I'm told I was too slow. Is there some way to cheat around this game? Loosing the game (and 300 bucks) because the game doesn't work kinds sucks. Thanks.

No, I don't think so. It would be easier if you got the Magical Boomerang.

The boomerang from level 2? I have it, and by standing in the center and throwing it at angles I can hit the far ones easily and remain centered to hit the middle ones - yet even hitting them it doesn't seem to work. (this last time I hit the first target immediately, and was again told I was too slow.) It really seems to me like there a game bug in the "hit target" recognition system.

PS: oh, and thanks for the bottle hint icon_smile.gif. I forget that some zelda games require one to get a bottle before you can buy elixirs.

Keep moving while the Boomerang hits their marks. This is how I did it.

yes, you have to move around for the triggers to work in that mini game which is why your not seeing the targets change. icon_wink.gif

You'll have to bomb some blocks in certain areas.

If you watch my videos, you'll figure it out. Also, these are in the Xtreme Mode of the quest.

Hmm, how do I get past the first three rooms in level 4 (easy quest)? I've tried bombing, superbombing the grates, etc.). Thanks!

Never mind - sneaky "go north through the wall" trick. Thanks for the vid help, Bowser.

No problem. Just remember to raise and lower the water in Level-4. You need the Boots and the Ladder to get through.

I finally beat levels 1-7 on easy mode, but I can't for the life of me find the L2 Bow. Also, since somethings have upgrades and other's don't, is there a definitive list of what all items one can get for each Quest?

Oh, and just a reminder, the game is called:

Origin s

No "S" icon_smile.gif "Stinkin' s should stay silent" - cheers!
