OMG....how could I miss that....so sorry...anyway, back to game 

 

That is really peculiar then... I'm not sure what's going on here. The most confusing part is that it seems to work fine on my end, so I'm not sure what is causing it to bug out on your side.

The only thing I can think of is that the secret isn't actually being triggered; are you certain you were able to activate the secret? There is a single tile on the screen that activates the draining of the lake (with the staircase appearing along-side that). You'll need to stand on the ground below the first waterfall on the left (try and line yourself up to the mountains on the left). Using the whistle ANYWHERE else means not activating the secret, you'll simply just hear the song and nothing will happen.

 

Level 6 will be located three screens north of Level B, so from the starting screen if you move one screen to the right, and then walk north from there, you'll find the dungeon!

Glad you enjoyed it! The on/off setting simply just enables a screen overlay that's meant to mimic old TVs (for a more retro feel); doesn't do anything other than change how the game looks!

If you're referring to the A-Side, there is indeed a Magical Sword - though you get it in Level 9!

Thanks. I just finished level 8. There’s a dungeon to enter however there’s a big rock in front of it I tried superbomb but didn’t work. How can I get the entrance open

Don't worry too much about that structure; there's nothing there, and only exists as a symbol for where Level 5 in the B-Side is. Think of it as a sort of red herring!

Where’s level 9

Level 9 would be located in the patch of water to the centre-top of Yiu; if you use the Whistle on that screen, a staircase should appear. Enter the stairs and you'll find yourself in the final dungeon!

Up to Level 7.  Still have the wooden sword. Are the others in this quest?

I found mini levels A, B, and D, but can't find C. 

 

Edit - Beat Level G and level 4, in Level 5 now.  Still have the wooden sword.

Don't worry too much about finding Level C, as that'll become available for when you get the flippers! As for the sword upgrade, you'll find it in Level F - located one screen above where you purchase the wooden sword.

To find the Magic Key, you'll need to find a secret staircase located in the room with the two statue shooters, three blue Darknuts, and two red Wizzrobes. From there, if you enter the staircase you'll need to walk left until you reach the room with Abei in it. There is a secret in this room, to which the Lens of Truth will reveal! From there, you should be able to find the Magic Key (though you should continue to rely on the Lens of Truth, as there are more bombable walls along the path).

I got the key, magic sword, and red ring.  Looking for the Silver Arrow.  There's a room in the upper left that has the resetting tiles in it but nothing else.

The Silver Arrows should be along the path to the boss of Level 9; they're not hidden or anything, so you shouldn't miss them! Though, you will need bait to finish the quest!
