Very solid quest all around! For reference I played the A-Side version (not a chance I'll ever touch B-Side). The quest is very Z1-like, especially when it comes to overworld design and dungeon design. I do like how as you complete every dungeon the world continues to open up more and more until you are free to explore everywhere. That kind of progression is great. The dungeons are designed interestingly and some have cool gimmicks to them. The mini dungeons you find along the way compliment the main dungeons quite well and I certainly like how you get thrown off by having to visit later ones much earlier than anticipated to get items to progress.
I don't have much to critique but I will say that I feel the main dungeons are all far too short IMO. Makes sense for maybe the first 2 dungeons or so but I certainly think for A-Side the later dungeons should've been expanded since I feel they just went by too fast until you get to Level 9 which is huge in comparison. That's all really though.
Overall a very solid quest, I had fun playing it and it's nice to see classic style quests pop up now and again. A solid 4/5 from me.

Description
This Quest download includes two radically different quests, one being the original and untouched version of the quest from the Type B Quest Contest, and the other being a completely revamped and balanced version of the quest!
------------------
Saint James Place: A-Side [RECOMMENDED]
This is the version that I expect most people to play, and it's the version I put the most work into. Being completely revamped, you'll find that there are almost double the number of dungeons found in the B-Side variation of the quest, with Yiu being doubled in size too. A lot of the annoyances found in the B-Side has also been completely removed, and replaced with more fair puzzles with a much more forgiving gameplay progression.
Play this version if you want to experience Saint James Place in its revamped form!
Saint James Place: B-Side
For those looking for a stupid challenge, this is the version for you. Completely untouched and unbalanced, this version will surely bring your patience to the limit; while a lot of the game is extremely difficult, completing such a quest as this shouldn't be a challenge for the skilled veterans of Zelda Classic... Are you sure you can beat it?
Play this version if you want to experience Saint James Place in its original form!
------------------
Both quests are packaged together, and use the same songs, so simply load the quests (without moving them from their original file location) and get playing!
I do recommend that you play the A-Side if you want a more fun experience, as the B-Side is not for everyone. Just a little warning there, but if you still want to give the B-Side a try, feel free! It won't be pretty...
