Demonlink: I haven't finished this but I want to just point out how unfair level 2 Stalfos are on sideview screens and no shield. Otherwise solid dungeon so far, I beat the mini-boss(?). An actual review will be here once I finish the entire thing.
Hmmm, I actually intended for Lvl. 2 Stalfos to be on the first dungeon. Given I thought most people were bored of the standard ones, well, I added them to increase difficulty, but I guess that's one more on my "to do" list. As for the "mini boss", yes, that was it, given I knows no ghosting. :/ Thanks for your review!
Demonlink: I personally would do something to simplify the difficulty from an enemy perspective. Either by giving more health regen abilitiy or just making the rooms simpler in enemy choice. And that miniboss is pretty brutal. I wanted to enjoy it more but at least for me I'm not a fan of high difficulty unless it has to do with puzzles. The design is solid however and I love having sideview implemented.
I might decide to change the mini boss later on, given I intended for it to be a placeholder rather than an actual foe. And, I guess my enemy choices are poor as well, but hence, I'll beware of these changes. Thanks! ![]()
Demonlink: I felt like your vertical detection for falling off ledges was wrong. You might want to consider making that more forgiving.
Did you mean the falling pits? If that's the case, I'm using a very, very old version of the HoleLava script from Mero, given it's the only one compatible with combining moving platforms. I'll be sure to check that out as well.
Demonlink - can I open .bin without downloading a program for it?
I read your posts above, so solving your internet issue will allow you to play the dungeon. ![]()
