First, head straight south two screens from the brown Basement, past the spike-crusher room and into the room beneath it. Solve the block puzzle to move a block to the lower right. Then go back up two screens, go east, use the conveyor song twice to make your way to the lower right of the screen, and head south. I think there's a key after that stretch of dungeon.

Yes, just found this key… Now what?

Also is it possible to hold more than 999 rupees? Just found the hidden shop.

Go back to the screen where you used the conveyor song a bunch, and go southwest in that screen to unlock a lockblock and go around a few screens, and slash a put to go down a floor. Once you arrive, head all the way west. On the screen with three colorful teleporters, bomb a wall in the upper left corner. It doesn't lead to anything you can do yet, but you'll be really, really glad to have the resulting screen visible for much later on. Look for more bombable walls on the right side of that area too.

You can't hold more than 999 rupees, but you can make shop prices decrease by wearing rings.

Canons don't count as traps.

To beat Auga:

Indeed, it really did. My two rings for most of the game were the Whisp Ring and the Steadfast ring.

Im still missing a key!  http://postimg.org/image/unwz2ch6j/

Also, was going back through the over world and was stuck on a couple of things:

1) how do you activate this switch? http://postimg.org/image/ggjtpc19t/

2) How do you lower the pegs around this book ? Tried all my songs… http://postimg.org/image/hf4s5d3zl/

3) How do I get this ring? http://postimg.org/image/ot0zqwa69/

For the key, (And forgive me if this isn't accurate) When you land on the first basement, go two screens east. There should be a single mirror-robe in there. The floor will also start to crack. Fall through it. That could get you on the right path.

You can probably use a discount ring to get that 1000 rupee ring. Where was that screen, anyway? I never did find that. I actually never looked, to be honest.

To lower those pegs, play the music corresponding to those notes that the pots indicate. If it doesn't work, it's because the fingers are looking at the notes wrong. That's why I struggled with it for a bit myself.

For the lever, the entrance is indeed somewhere to the south/southwest of L6. Digging is likely necessary. I don't have the thing open in front of me at the moment, sorry.

I fell into that room, but couldn't find anything in there… Will check again. Nope, nothing there but a pond, dirt (which I've dug up) and a teleporter that warps you back to the entrance. Ok, never mind, just found the second key… dive here: http://postimg.org/image/jxzo3rj3x/

The secret ring shop is on the same screen as the ring and item shop outside the forbidden city. Look for a cracked wall. By the way, thats the price when Im wearing a 20% off ring… regular price is 1250.

Will try the pots when I'm next over there...

Also, have to go digging another time...

I find it really helps against Auga to study the pattern of the spikes on the floor. She was easy after I figured out that pattern. You can avoid a lot more projectiles when you are in the area with the spikes. It's the safest area... Except for the spikes themselves. lol

Anyways, I got another video prepared.

I'll have to agree with you here when it comes to the items. It wasn't until level 7 I started asking myself "will I ever be using these items again?"

I believe you will in level 7. Being the final level, it kinda does what a final level does. Lol

But I was surprised how Jamian never found no use for the dungeon items outside of the dungeons they were found in.

That's what I called "The Twilight Princess syndrome". Items that only have a purpose for some specific types of puzzles and after a while they become useless. This is a very common issue with the latest official Zelda games. I like when the items are weapons mainly, like in ALTTP and Z1. For example, the wand is always useful even if there isn't any puzzles around it (and the bow, hookshot, boomerang, candle.......).

If I recall correctly. That's one of those doors that is opened in another room. (You probably remember them. You hit a switch and a cutscene of the door opening triggers). I believe you need to go up those stairs and you'll eventually find what you need.

But my memory isn't serving me right now. :/

I can't figure what I'm missing. On 3F I can't do nothing. I need a key in any case.

I can say I beat Auga legit on hero mode, used the great spin attack and steadfast ring. beat him using a crap load of spin attacks (Thats how I usually beat bosses in the official 2d zelda tiles) but I cant say I beat the machine legit, I used cheat engine to slow ZC down by 50%. That boss was WAY too fast for me, I switched out the spin attack ring with the great bow ring, I noticed some patterns with the eyes but I couldnt react fast enough. Now in the mines. (This was with 14 heart containers)

255 games, 28 hours, hero mode still

@Airluigi

I totally forgot where to get the key for that room but the switch will put blocks down so you can get the treasure. Do you have the conveyor belt song? If you do, you can get a few keys with it, explore places in the level that you couldn't before with that song.
