I never got Mr. Mega, and yet I still got the True Champion's Medal (it was a MAJOR pain in the rear, I swear... Mask of Truth is helpful for it, though, I must admit).  I don't even know WHAT Mr. Mega is (from an earlier post somewhere, I assume it works like Din's Fire), nor where I can find it.  Hints would be useful, though.

 

Also, if the True Champion's Medal IS the reward for the 'Magic Pot', then I guess I did figure it out long ago.

Ok.  Is it still possible to still obtain Mr. Mega or have I missed the boat for that?

It's possible to obtain in any playthrough and can't be missed. If you have the True Champion's Medal though it's more of a bonus at this point.

 

 

 

 

As a side note, I'm going to try running one more update at some point. It'll fix a few things, add a shortcut in Sanskrit Temple, make a couple earlier things more obvious, and (hopefully) add a bonus scene after the credits for anyone who gets the canon ending.

Thanks! The current Champion's Medal you have will help you get further. Try using it around a place you've probably tried getting into a ton of times before. It's probably taunted you at least a couple times throughout the quest and you now finally have the item needed to get inside.

Finally solved the Soul Game Box puzzle.  That was one of the most ingenious puzzles i've ever seen!  Once you realized what was happening, it was just a matter of figuring out where to go.  Well done!

Still trying to find three mega-tier secrets to no avail.

I've already discovered the hidden area of Truth and gotten the 2x additional endings, and have the true champion medal, so that's two mega-tier secrets down. I'm thinking that solving the soulgame box puzzle opens up the way to the mysterious big key on the beach, which opens up the way to the grand champion/cane of goddess in the library, which completes the game for me. Is there any sort of hint to the logic behind the soulgame box? Like are the map coordinates for the box relevant to some other area besides winterfall path? Does the box signify a screen maze? Is there any relevance to the box in the hedge maze just southest of Sanskrit - the one in the same screen position as the soulgame box?

I can definitely see how one would accidentally find out the soul game secret.  I wonder what kind of devilish secrets you are going to put in the next game. Well now I am going to do a bad karma run and maybe find Mr. Mega. This was a superb quest.

The significance of that box is that it prevents me from having to use Smart Scrolling. But no, you don't need it for anything. The Soul Game thing...has logic behind it, but I would never tell you it's straightforward logic. I would find the other box that looks like the one near the Soul Game house. Play around with it, try to reason around with what it "does" and then return to the Soul Game house with this idea. Or if that doesn't work, maybe hunt down the second Secret Shop somewhere in Myso.

 

If you have the True Champion's Medal, I think you're also a couple more mega secrets in than you're thinking. There's actually a checklist at the end for you though.

Awesome! I kind of wish bad karma had an equivalent super prize like good karma, but fell flat on ideas. There's at least the Heart of the Soulless. Glad you enjoyed the quest in any case! I feel like Lost Lineage's mega tier secrets will have to be slightly more straightforward because of the much bigger Overworld, but we'll see if I can't at least cook up some dedicated challenges during the secrets themselves.

I stumbled across the pattern to the soulgame secret, then I stumbled across the way to the beach key while inside the soulgame secret area, then I went to the grand library and was disappointed to only find this:

 

 

I guess the cane of goddess is a strict good karma item, and since I have some bad karma items in my inventory (clique medal, flippers) I can't get it in this play through. Is there anything attainable in the treasure chest behind the immovable skull pot in the first room of the library?
