I just want you to know Im amazed at level 8, and the end of level 7 with the self destruct with the ff music, and links remark.  I felt for a moment I was playing ff2 escaping from the tower of babil.  Nice job

 

 

In level 8 below the room with the big key I went through the door, opened the left path and went to the left room then a room up where I need a key to get passed the block and get to the star.  In addition, when I try go left in the room with the big key I get pushed back.  I am totally confused where to go

How many "rooms" in the hologram room?

The Hologram room is an endless attack. It keeps looping until you die.

I'm not sure which key you're missing, but for the boss key room, you need to enter from the right side, which will change the spike colors and ending the screen curse. you can go to the left after that.

from the start of the dungeon, if I go up two rooms, then left, I can see a key that I cannot get to.  By now should I be able to get it?

There's a second entrance in the forest. Look for another screen with a brown skull rock.

I suspected as much. Made it to 200, and I thought, "this is not going to end." So I guess it's just a place to see how far you can go. With my gold tunic it was pretty easy.

thnks, found the second entrance, it was a guessing game finding the correct whistle spot. 

 

Still missing one more key, I now have the one to open the block to get to the star, still need one to open the sky area block.  I remember getting one key after walking on a star in the room right from the start, which removes a barrier , then I get the key by going through a warp.   Also remember getting a key in the sky area.    In the room right of the big key room there is a unlit torch I couldn't figure how to lite.

Thanks for playing my quest! lol I think you beat my hologram room record!

There are 2 keys in the sky one of them involves pressing a series of switches ( in which the first switch ca be pressed in the middle cannon route)

got much farther, got the big key and entered an area in the sky where there is this blue block and some thing that looks like sand , need some help to pass the bluish block

You need the mirror shield to reflect on the blue block. The MS is in the Earth part.

So I'm in the Hero's Dream and I can only find 2 staircases from the start (one screen from the entrance and one right at the end of the long straight path), I can't seem to access any other staircases though.. any help?

 

Edit: Nevermind, there was a burnable bush on the 3rd screen which I had no idea that was there.

 

Edit2: I got a key but now I have no idea where to go.

Palace of Shadows - I walked up thru the wall (door not immediately apparent) and a few rooms later I got the key in the top rooms with the conveyor belts and spikes.....but now I'm stuck.

 

OK  Figured it out; thought I did that (such a simple thing to do).

There's a warp in every screen with a green-eyed armos. the ones with red dots on the shield are switches. Does this help?

In the Demon's Lab I'm trying to get the main weapon/item for that dungeon.  Is that a race before the green wand winds up behind those black blocks??
