really? this is not good. are you playing on 1.90? I really haven't changed this part at all, so I don't know what to tell you. you appear in the door way, then when you step out you must immediately turn so it bumps you to the side, not back. I think you know exactly what to do, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work unless newer builds don't allow for the turning.

appear outside. press down and immediately press right. down right. should bump you left. sorry if you can't make it happen.

HOW?! Is there a level 2 sword anywhere? I found the blue ring, but that one room keeps killing me...
Edit: Did it. Then died randomly while pushing a block. Did it again. Then I wasted my potion in a room with a locked door. I'm being really stupid today...

there are a few tricks you should be employing for the blue giants cap, start there. the Stone Sword is earned soon, but not easily, after the room with ten knights. you have any kief to smoke?

I think I may have screwed myself over. I got the triforce and the dungeon fell apart...was the sword in there? What does the spoon looking item do? I can't tell what it is...

the only other prize in four was a heart. the bowl lets you see invisible enemies. I assume you had less trouble with the dinosaur rooms and found level four to be easy enough. having fun?

This is one of my favorite quests in a long time. Despite what my sig says, I definitely support this. You really stretched the limits of 1.90 and so far you've maintained the difficulty throughout the whole thing. I'm mostly having fun...except for the darknut room and the 2 headed gleeok in level 2. Still haven't found the sword. I haven't explored everywhere yet though...

sure. it's in the NorthEast. every overworld screen has a secret and/or an item and/or a door. nice user bar!

Thanks. I'm really having trouble here. I've been as northeast as I can go and haven't found anything...I found the kief, but all it did was open a potion shop that sells potions for more than I was buying them for before...Am I just being really stupid or is this just a hard item to find...

the cheaper kief thing sounds like I did something wrong. hmm...

okay... it's near a bunch of peahats. what screen(s) haven't you gotten anything from? which screen(s) haven't you warped or used a door from? you can get this. it's a dude you can find early and he asks you to prove you you are worth his "fine metal work," I believe. this is a tough item to get, but it sure isn't impossible or even very hard, once you know what to do. I think you can get it. it is in the snowy East. claim it!

edit: just realize he doesn't give you a metal sword, he gives you a stone one.

This is the only screen I could find with peahats in the eastern snow area that I hadn't found anything on. The problem is that no matter what I do, I can't find an entrance. Am I missing an item?

also, I just noticed that you are using an old version of the quest. damn. I should have the database page updated, so this stops happening. not your fault. well, I hope you enjoy it anyway. also explains the cheaper kief thing. I bet I have since fixed it. if you decide to start over (aargh!), use the link in my signature. I guess I need to prioritize getting the database updated. I have a change to make, first. I need the gleeoks back to normal. one more thing added to my mental checklist.

I found...I found...DAAAAW! HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID! It was right in front of me! I burned every bush in the area except that one! Now I checked and it seems I missed a couple items in the level 3 area...going back and looking...

Where are the sunglasses?
