The Dome of Trials has several heart containers in it.

He already explained that. You mean the end of the Dome? I haven't checked. (Never tried that dungeon yet... :ugh:)

about 10-11 in 1st quest level 9, and around 11-13 in 2nd quest level 9.
Most can be avoided in both cases, but you won't initially know the best routes through the dungeons the first time to avoid most of them.

Great game and definitely much more than a remake. Having a blast playing but can't find level 2 in the 3rd version for the life of me. Any help?

From the start of the quest go north, then west till you get to the potion shop, level 2 is one screen north in the tree.

Edit: Hate this bastard.

This is as far as I'll go, don't feel like killing another thousand leevers.

Level-2 Xtreme is in a tree near the Lost Woods.

From the start of the quest go north, then west till you get to the potion shop, level 2 is one screen north in the tree.

Try finding some secret caves. They'll be helpful to you. You'll have to get use to them.

Thanks, never tried walking in those trees, had a feeling it was going to be something obvious i was missing. At least it payed off having to wander all over the place. I'm just at level 6 and have almost all three layers of hearts even though i haven't paid a single guy the 999 rupees.

You'll get a ton of hearts with the flippers out of 3 there and the master dome has 5 in it alone though it's... very sadistic.

OK, first off I will admit that I am a whiny little girl for this. But here is my comment:

@DarkFlameWolf; I have been looking forward to playing extreme mode, but alas the sword slash makes my eyes pee with sadness. Perchance a version with stab? Maybe some sort of trade, like I will offer my services for beta testing any future hard difficulty quests in exchange.

Instead of three quests in one, it'll be like six quests..huh?

Yes, the Poverty Gods are quite annoying, but its basically an over-arching maxi-puzzle to the Xtreme mode. In what order you do the dungeons and in what capacity your health meter is at each level will dictate if you ultimately fail at the 3rd quest based on the Poverty Gods alone. So this is where intimate knowledge of the first two quests come in handy for 3rd. You need to know a lot about the world/dungeons to successfuly solve the overall 'puzzle' of third without losing all your life in the process.
