Anyways, does anyone know if the stump in Autumn Town with the purple stones in front of it (that you can walk on top of like the SI stumps) actually does anything? Or is that just a tease... I thought it was new in the updated quest, and assumed it must do something cool once you get the Song of Seasons (it doesn't as far as I can tell), but I seem to vaguely recall it also being in the original version once I thought about it.

In the windmill theres a room where you need to move 4 block over 4 tiles apparently in a specific order that the vases in the rooms are the clues as to which is 1st...2nd...3rd and 4th to cover. How the hell does the vases tell you squat. can someone please help me with the order of pushing the blocks? Thankx in advance. All the Let Play has a diffrent set up for the windmill.

I just answered that question on the previous page of this thread...

I need help on Level 5, on the lava floor I can't continue to the key door because there's a switch that needs to be hit with the sword but I have no idea how to get to it.
If you mean the room I think you mean, and if my memory doesn't fail me... There's a mirror hidden behind the brazier, push it right and then down and bounce a Wizzrobe shot off it to hit the switch.
EDIT: Oh, sorry, there's a switch in the room with the key door, guess you mean that. If you head to the right from the lower left corner of the central chamber, the next screen has three gray short braziers. Hookshot to the one on the right, and smash the middle pot below it - play the ocarina on top of the tile underneath the pot, and it'll open the path down the right side so you can reach the switch two rooms down and open the path to the key door.

I need help with level 5. On B3 (forest), how can I reach the orb in the 3rd screen from the left? There is a big one-eye statue with a blue bird on it in that room. The orb is blocked by a tree, holes a plant and a fence.
Also, after getting the wand and going to B2 from the lava floor, 3rd room from the left, I reach the room with the glove. How can I reach the chest?
Thanks to anyone who know how!!!
Found the answer.
Level 5 clear.
Love that game.

I'm playing that great game using version ZC 2.50 Beta Build 20 and now I'm unable to do some things with the flippers. I can climb down a vine in the water but I can't do the opposite. Link can't climb a vine when I'm in water. Also, in the windmill, I can't climb on solid ground from top of bottom. I can do it from side to side only. Playing more than 12 hours and getting blocked is not fun.
He specifically stated (I think) that it won't necessarily work right with anything after 2.10. There's some audio glitch apparently if you play with 2.10 but there's a 2.10.2 version that fixes that: http://www.purezc.co...showtopic=30502
Try playing it with that instead - I'm playing on Win7 and haven't had any trouble with the quest.

In autumn town, top screen map, a bit to the left, north of the raft game, there is a sun/star design on the ground near a pile of rock. Does it have any purpose? Also, I read in this thread that there is a long bow in autumn town, is it true?
I don't know of any secrets on that screen - I tried just about everything on it, since it looked special/significant when I first discovered it. I'm still curious about the stump you can climb on top of near the library, with the purple stones at the base, that is like the stumps in Season Isle; yet it doesn't do anything.
The Long Bow is a prize for beating the 2nd round of the Bow Game in Autumn Town (a Heart Container piece is the prize for beating the 1st round, iirc you must exit and return after winning the HCP to play again on round two.)

In the windmill, I've gotten to a room where there are two bookcases and a statue that tells you to go home and read a book. I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do here!

I'm sure the answer to this is going to make me feel stupid, but ...
In the windmill, I've gotten to a room where there are two bookcases and a statue that tells you to go home and read a book. I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do here!
It's been a while, but IIRC you need the 2nd Cucco Book (you get it instead of the standard Bait item.)
To get the first book, head east from the first house you reach in Hyrule Field, look for a giant patch of flowers and cut through to the center, drop into the hole. You'll be inside a cave in the hill east of the patch, and do some stuff to open something, then warp out or something. Then you go into the cave in the hillside and proceed to the end, come out on top of the hill where you get book #1. Return to that first house and use it (I think you get a HCP or something.) You'll then be able to go north through a door and talk to an old man who tells you he's "opened the way."
To get the second book go look for a house near the Windy Peak or Death Mountain entrances (I forget which.) It's fenced in with pits you need the ladder or hookshot to cross (I forget which.) The old man inside the house has the book. I can't remember if he just gives it to you or you pay/have to do something for him.
Go back to the Windmill with book #2 and proceed.
