There are switches all over the place in this quest. Some are found under pots. Other are under grass or behind candles and trees. There are even switches on floors. I had the same problemas you in Donmore Cave. Walk all around every room your in. Make sure to walk behind all the candles.
I finally finiahed Fort Moblin. :-)

Just started playing this game and I need help on the Wondering Tree.

I've already got into it but it looks like I need another key to continue, where can I find the key?

I was trying to find an answer to my question in the forum. I got through 33 pages, but I'm wondering if this newer version has some differences. Based on my Triforce pieces, I have completed five levels. The last level told me to go to the eastern entrance to the Citadel. I walked through the bookcase in the Temple of Light and got to the Royal Cave. There doesn't seem to be anything there. Based on a post on page 32 or 33 I think Zelda is supposed to give me flippers there. The last room is empty, and I've tried all of my items. I'm using the 2.10 version that's supposed to be compatible with Windows 7. Does anyone have any advice?

Do you maybe already have the flippers? icon_razz.gif

D'oh it looks like you missed a level. You're supposed to have 6 triforce pieces before getting the flippers, not 5. Try doing the dungeons on the ice mountain and the graveyard. Chances are you forgot to finish one of them.

Thank you very much Pokemonmaster64. I must have hit Retry instead of Save after that last level (6). Zelda appeared this time since I had the correct number of Triforce pieces. You've saved me a lot of time and agony.

By the way - I did consider that I had already gotten the flippers without realizing it. That was actually a good call.

Glad I could help. Hopefully level 7 won't drive you mad like it did for me. icon_razz.gif

Thanx ms_zelda lady. I figured out how to get across the conveyors & across the water and then on to level 1. Now I am busy in level 2 . Congrats on finishing level 2. Hopefully I will do the same soon.

Glad to help you Geezer. I'm still in the Blazing Inferno but at least I finally have the bridge. Now I have to figure out how to kill the 2nd part of the boss. It's not the boss that kills me it's the flames. It sure is hot in there....LOL

Anyone know how long the Cave of Ordeals goes on for? I'd like to know how close I've gotten.

NVM. Finally made it through after several attempts.

I absolutely cannot beat the 8th boss, even fully stacks with potions he is just too ridiculous after you are able to use the sword on him.

The fight takes entirely too long to even get to that point...

Just wait until you get to Ganon... Still haven't won after about 10 attempts, and that's with the gold tunic, full potion and 20 full hearts.

The gold tunic is in the Cave or Ordeals in southwest Hyrule Field, which features a very long endurance challenge vs lots of enemies.

Hey, I just got done with the main part of this quest. Just as great as I remember! However, it is a new feature of the quest that eludes me now. I have heard rumor of a secret dungeon. Where is it, I can't find it no matter how hard I try?
