So I'm trying to give the Fire Heart to the frozen man in the chilled caverns however, the heart keeps disappearing from my inventory! I'll collect it in the Lava Flow, check the sunscreen to make sure it's there - and it is - but then when I went to the frozen man, nothing happened. I then checked my inventory there and somehow the Fire Heart mysteriously disappeared! I thought maybe I had fooled myself so I went back and forth again, fetching another Fire Heart, checking my inventory in Lava Flow and returning to the Chilled Caverns again and sure enough upon returning, it was gone!
*Edit: NEVERMIND!

I just completed the whole thing on swindling mode and got ending B. This is quite a nice quest and I enjoyed figuring out the right tactics to beating the bosses. I even managed to beat the 6 optional bosses guarding the ankhs using only normal items and it was very challenging - but all barely doable with the right tactics which goes to show how much work has gone into balancing and designing the bosses. You certainly enjoy your bosses huh Evan? For me, the most difficult boss was the one in solit necropolis guarding the lightning ankh. Took a while - yeah.
I can see that a lot of work has gone into balancing the game just like in IoR. At no time was I absolutely dominant and over-powered but neither were there any impossible sections either so I think its been done very nicely. And when there is balance the game just feels so fun to play.
Only things that bugged me a little bit were having to switch on/off the iron boots and the enemy health meter. Bit of a pain having to go to the subscreen all the time to turn the boots on/off - how about automatically turning on the boots when the game detects that sasic is taking damage from spikes and then turning it off when he's not on spikes? Just saves a lot of hassle. And the enemy health meter - well, I can only really use that to figure out what a boss is weak to - but its a stamina cost that a player simply can't afford when fighting the boss "for real".
But those are just minor things - on the whole its well worth playing for players who enjoy getting rustled up.

Think you may have undercounted the amount of ankh bosses ![]()

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm currently cooking up a LttP-styled quest as part of a collab with Teamudf. I have a feeling you'll like that one too, although it'll be a little bit easier than UC I think (though the final few bosses sure won't disappoint!).

What is a good way to grind money in this game? I know you mentioned in a stream the best way is to use the weather feature to get enemies to drop items, but I'm confused at what items I should be looking for and who I should be bringing them to and I'm too lazy to go find out. lol

I don't remember too clearly, but the cactus thorns sell for a decent amount to the lady at the north end of the starting cave area. I'd go to the rain guy, run left a few screens, down a screen, then right a few screens, killing the lanmola on the way, until I hit the desert area where the cactus enemies are.

Cactus needles and tower shields are the best items to sell at 100/200 respectively.

Who drops tower shields? Also, is there a unique prize for getting a tower shield?

Darknuts in Hillside drop Tower Shields.
You can take one of them to a guy in Eastern Valley for a special item if you'd like.

Frogger X imo. Requires a lot more strategy managing his charge-up attacks and the fight goes on for a longer period of time (usually) requiring a longer period where you cannot make mistakes.

Frogger X seems to be another boss that is going to shove me around like a bunch of bullies shoving the new kid. That's what Tartaros made me feel.
