I feel like I've been sucking at this game a lot recently. There's nothing with it mind you, but I guess whenever I play a new quest, I am usually only good at it if I know what I am doing.

 

Same here. It's because the quest has a lot of new mechanics and a personal and unique style of design, which is something great.So, you need to relearn, like if it was your first played Zelda game. Creative placement of secrets it's one of the more important things in the making of a quest, sometimes more than the design itself.

I've been puzzling over the "one block, two switch" room in Brace Dent for an hour with no progress.

Can someone please give me a better hint than shown earlier?

After (kinda...) beating sanskrit temple, what to do in Brace Dest for the 2nd time? The only new way I seen leads to a room where the path is blocked by traps. I seen in an Eppy video that he just tanked it and there was no immediate penalty, but I would love to know what to do legally. I looked around outside, too, but I found only a magic container and no plot progression parts.

If you ask, I did save the girl before (kinda) beating the sanskrit boss and after the boss, I got till a HC, but not out from the temple. I'm also trying to play as virtuous as possible.

Oh man. This quest. THIS QUEST. I haven't been feeling these feels ever since very long. The feeling of almost wanting to give up but keeping to try over and over in hope later it gets easier and always fun.

 

I still say this is how quests usually should be ever since 2.50 came out. This quest to 2.50 is like Doublevision, Eckland, Freedom's quests, Akkabus' quests and Rockfan's quests to 2.10. (Or 1.92, respectively.)

Trying to find my way through Soltis.  I got keys from every obvious area (including the one given the answer south from the maze puzzle on the 5th floor).  Also found the big chest and the boss room (saved after discovering the chest and before using the key for the path towards the boss room in case I was missing anything, or using the key I had left would screw something up).  I could unlock the teleporter from the entrance to the mirror room, or go to the Boss Key Door.  So far I've followed a -mostly- linear dungeon with intense puzzles, and some hidden doors (and yes, I already beat the Aquamentus and got the key; kinda vicious way to do so, I might add).  So, with what I've done, I have access to the 5th floor up to the mirror room, with one dungeon key for one of two blocks.  Am I missing something obvious, because it's starting to make my brain hurt.

That's the thing: I've used every 'color' I could find, and I'm still stuck.  I only have a single dungeon key left after using the others to go through doors on every floor, and two possible blocks to use them on: one that leads to the 'invincibility and tenacity' puzzle and the 'color maze' with a boss door, and the one that opens a teleporter in the 'mirror room' to the entrance.  I've checked every nook and cranny of what I can find, and the only possible solution I can see is going beyond the 'mirror room' on the 5th floor.  However, every time I try to, after the first mirror, I get stuck behind it and have to restart it.  I think I need the boss key, or some way to open the big chest.

 

With reading previous comments, I've seen something called 'Goddess of Wisdom'.  What is that, something like Parallel Worlds? (I got the reference with the crows).  If so, I've never played it, nor have I heard of it before that comment, so I have no clue what's going on with that.

 

It's just getting frustrating and tedious at this point.

Yeah, you need to resolve the room with the mirrors. Think about it, it's very tricky and you need coordination.

All right, the battery is running out.

 

I turned Plergoth upside down, but no bow. I looked through the map of Winterfall, but no any superbomb spot that is even at least a bit suspicious.

 

I realized that stars aren't the sole indicators of the green wand use (even though the quest totally made me believe that... you know, right in the room where I got that wand... powered by the Plergoth boy's hint...), so I found more locations, but all of them required either arrows or that blood drop indicated anything.

 

 

I need an actual hint, not just things like "you need xy item that you don't have", "it's in XY very big area somewhere", "it's tricky" and such.

I need the bow first (AND arrows and quiver if they exist separately) to be able to go further in Brace Dest (I think I'm close to the hookshot), then the location of the next dungeon (I like to explore maximally before each mandatory area, especially because the trap difficulty in this quest).

CastChaos: For the bow, look in the south of Plergoth. There's a crystal switch you can hit with wand magic to open a path towards a one screen dungeon. Your bow is in there. For the next dungeon, go to Winterfall Path. There's a screen with a big boulder and a heart container piece you need the Stardust Scepter to reach. Superbomb the big boulder, then walk down the path and solve the block puzzle at the end to get to the next level.
