Well, thanks I am glad that you think my game is that good, but I don't know about God. O_o lol. But I am sure you can make as good as game as me. However, my goal is for EotM to never be matched. So hopefully that is the game I am remembered for. icon_razz.gif

I'm ancheously awaiting that game. Is there a demo for it yet?

And I know it's probably pretty obvious, but... I can't find my way into Wolfblin's Fortress thingy.

From the entrance go west then north near the wall and push the Agahnim statue, so you fall into the fort.

As for the demo... Seems like neither you read the documentation. icon_heh.gif
Redownload the HoD zipfile, open the Word file and there are two links, one to EotM and one to TDS. However, expect that they won't even remotely resemble the finished games. icon_whistle.gif

Yeah, I had two demos of my upcoming games: Eye of the Moon and The Dark Shadow and a link was in the manual. However, my website went down, so I don't know if the links are there anymore >_<. And my computer died with those copys, so I can't reupload them. So, if the links don't work, that is why.. unless, it was using my old website... Either way, CC is right, they won't resemble the final project at all. Especially as I switched to a different style to get a darker and a more bigger, epic feel.

patience young grasshopper...time will tell all. Don't forget, we had to wait for Lost Isle for almost a year and a half if I'm not mistaken...but wasn't the wait worth it in the end? To me it was worth it.


By the way...I know you've been a mod for a little bit now, but when did they put you up as a "super moderator" Shoelace?? I bet you had to do some nasty, degrading things to get that position, eh?

Very well done quest Shoelace, even if I did want to hurt you for some of those dungeon designs.

Build 613 runs through the quest just fine with no noticable errors. There shouldn't need to be any changes made upon the eventual redux version for 2.5. There will be a redux version, right? Perhaps you can use ZScripting to replace a good deal of those DMaps you used and give yourself room for bonus dungeons or something. icon_razz.gif

I'm steadily making my way through Wolfblin's fortress. Two bugs, I've seen. One is that where you have to push the blocks to block the line of sight of the Moblin's that arrest you, if you push them straight down and walk between them, you still get caught. ~_~ That annoyed me much, because it seemed random.

The other is that if you're captured by a Wallmaster in the dungeon itself, and brought back to the beginning, then the screen to the left of the entrance becomes a dark room.

Well, that is good that those are the only bugs. The first one, you have to trap them. I couldn't make it so you just put it in the line of sight because of the limits in ZC, I am sure can do it now with scripting but back then, I don't think there is. And, the Wallmaster thing, I think that is a ZC bug but i could fix it with overhead combos, however, I took they out for some other reason. I don't remember why exactly, but yeah. lol

And thanks Wolfman. that is good that 613 runs good with HoD. I won't be adding any scripts in the new version as, I am not good with those. And basically really, the whole point of the new version is to have an easier version. Since a lot of people were clueless on some parts, and that some things like the timed secrets and spikes were just too much.

But I hope I can put some bonuses in the game, however, more dungeons, I don't know as I do want to save them for EotM.

I'm in the temple on mt. frost i got the first key but it didn't open up any options for me and I'm not sure what to do now. I can't figure out how to kill the sorcerer in the room with the blocks blocking the staircase ( right up from the entrance). I got everything from the 3 statues.

That white "sorcerer" only can be hit with it's own reflected magic... you will need a certain item later. Bear in mind that you can melt some ice blocks and move others in the southeast puzzle room. Apart from that, as I remember you need to go either far right then up or far left then up.

Room state carry over will probably give him a lot more room. As will having twice as many dmaps o.o

But doing room state carryovers will make me have to redesign everything. Basically, I don't think I will be changing any thing on the game really, however, just make it a easier version with a few added bonuses. I think HoD is as good as it is without any major changes. Either way, if I did need any extra dmaps, there are 512 in the betas, so that is like double, so I wouldn't have to save room to add anything. XD

I just beat HoD with 22 heart containers. Last boss was really annoying though, especially the LTTP Agahnim-style energy ball reflection part.

Just asking, are there any bonus dungeons to go through after Level 9?
