yes thanks, I understood that, I need to know what to do next. I need to start exploring the main map, don't know how to get there. The only part of the main map I have is the small area where the silver arrow was, that I found the staircase to from the triangle map.

I discovered this quest a few days ago thanks to 2.5's release, and if I could just figure out a weird block puzzle in level 9, I'm going to beat it soon. I must say, it's been quite a ride. The dungeon design is excellent save a few hiccups (those dark blocks in level 5 just scream "NEW ITEM NEEDED" but were apparently pointless); level 8 was a very cool idea. Also, that 200 rupee secret in level 3... just wow.

Beat it. icon_cool.gif

Level 9 is crazy. Took me forever to figure out that room with 7 pushable blocks, and I never solved the "X marks the spot" clue.

Final equipment:

I feel like I missed a few things, particularly the red ring. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a bigger bomb bag and wallet somewhere too. Plus I never solved some of the "pay me and I'll talk" hints as far as I can tell.

What was the level 3 music from? I can't figure out where I heard it before.

Battletoads and Double Dragon.

Wow, I haven't played that since I was a kid. No wonder I couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

I have been playing this the last couple days and had to make an account to post about a quest for the first time. I am sure i'm missing some items but I walk into level 9 and can't do anything after the first 3 or 4 rooms as there are dark blocks I can't push. I have the triforce completed and all containers and all the weapons but i'm sure i'm missing upgrades. Red ring probably, bracelet upgrade, and possibly others. I posted a picture and am just wondering if someone could give me since of direction as in what items i'm missing and what levels or overworld to find them. Not specific but level whatever or overworld. I have extra keys in a few levels but cant find a use. Great quest, hardest one i've played just a little stuck.

Both the bracelet upgrade and the red ring are in Level 9. Aside from the big wallet (which you can buy, but there's no real need to do so), looks like that's all you're missing.

Level 9 is very tricky in terms of hidden doors, puzzles, and very well-hidden keys. You CAN make some more progress there than just the first few rooms though (leading up to the bracelet upgrade).

Yeah i figured out that room I should of came back and edited to say so but I am glad to know that I am not missing anything outside the wallet. It seems like I saw it somewhere and just never went back to purchase it. Oh well I guess i'll be tackling level 9 then. Thanks for the response.

Could really use some help in the roman numeral 1 tile pushset or "I" block room, can't get it.

In the room to the right of the entrance room of the fake level 9, the whistle staircase there comes up as an empty combo. I don't think it is supposed to do that.

Why does the map for the entrance floor of the fake level 9 resemble the one for Death Mountain of The Legend Of Zelda if the floor only consists of a small number of rooms? That can be misleading.

The problem with fixing that is I have nothing else to fix. So it's been low on the priority list.

That room isn't even suppose to be there anyway.

I can't find the 200 rupees and red ring in Level 9. I found all of the keys, the silver gauntlets, and the boss key in there, but the red ring and the 200 rupees can't be found.

There is a guy in this quest that states that the red ring is not in Level 9. Is he telling the truth, or lying?
