This was actually a very good quest, for a freshman effort. It's funny though to read the posts from people about getting stuck in some of the earlier dungeons, as the later dungeons just get more and more devious and difficult. I think the best way to deal with this quest is to expect to encounter all the puzzles that you might see in the console Zelda games; things like shooting statues in the eye, or slashing vines to find hidden objects. (If memory serves me correctly, the Big Key in Fort Wolfblin is also hidden behind a cluster of vines) By the way, those of you who thought that Rorriow Temple's Boss, Kholdstare was a pain in the ass to defeat, wait until you run into the Spirit Rangers and even more so The Commander! I swear, that giant Armos was one of the most evil and frustrating boss encounters I've ever seen! I'm still not sure whether or not the game's final boss is almost as difficult, but it was definitely challenging. As far as puzzles are concerned, Season Isle I think required the most thought out of you since each area can cycle through four different states and finding the correct seaon to advance is not always as easy as one might think. Hyrule Castle itself was by far the most irritating dungeon of the lot because of the spiked floors that literally give you no time to trigger the puzzles that remove barricades or doors in your path; often the only way to get through without damage is to pause the game immediately after triggering each obstacle to see where the next one materializes before the spikes catch you, otherwise you have to waste magic using Nayru's Love to save your goofy @$$ from the spikes, or they'll make short work of even your twenty three hearts of energy. And if you don't have Nayru's Love at this point, you're likely pretty screwed in these rooms. Also, it is almost invaluable against The Commander as that guy has some nasty and evil tricks up his sleeve! (Again did I mention that was one of the most frustrating fights ever!?) All in all though aside from the spelling and grammar issues and some borderline campy dialogue, this was a fun and enjoyable game.

Oh god icon_sweat.gif I hated the Spirit Rangers. It was sheer luck I won after about 3 or 4 deaths. Though, I have to say the Commander was my favorite boss fight, and most meaningful.

I remember the Commander very well. ZC kept crashing on me because I wasn't in full screen mode so I had to fight the guy 6+ times before I found out how to get 2.10 to not crash on me from all of the back and forth talking. I think I went through the same thing with the last boss as well, I don't recall why though. Probably playing it still in windowed mode. Full screen is harder to hide when you are playing at work, which is where I've beaten all of my games so far... shh... don't tell.

Yup its me again and the dungeons to get harder the further you get. Heck im haveing trouble with a simple task which is were my question comes in. I just beat the 6th temple and impa told me to meet zelda, something about season island, and something about the flippers. So what do i do now. I cant remember all she said. I havn't even left the house because I cant figure out what she said. I know i have ot meet zelda and i need the flippers but i dont know how to do either one of these things.

Gah, well it happened. I found level 3, then my save file got corrupted. Can't recover my progress. So it'll probably be another year or so before I ever attempt it again from THE BEGINNING! BLARG.

You could try playing it on 2.11 beta 12d. That's the version I used to beat it icon_heh.gif

What? I've never gotten a corrupted save file for any quest. Ever. Very sorry.

Right, you have to go talk to Zelda first. To find her go to Citadel. She will explain more.

You may also need to go back to Palm Island to get a certain item. Just think about how you got the Blue Armor (Er, you did get the blue armor, right? icon_blink.gif)

I believe you have to hit the eye with an arrow? I never thought that door was closed.

I think I know. I think you need to obtain the Cucco Book in the northern house first then go back.
