Melts the ice, so it doesn't block the path of the wand magic, then shoot the mirror with the wand. Actually, if there are little eyes, reflect their fireballs into the boss.

I tried that, I got one somehow and then all the enemies re-appeared, on top of me O_o. Then I died.

If you are slow, the timed warp puts you back to the beginning of that part of the battle. So, be quick.

You have to use the mirrors and reflect magic back onto the eyeball via wand. Involves the ice blocks which gets annoying ;(

Ahh these repetitive time puzzles frustrate me deeply. Perhaps I should walk away at the Thieves Hideout if these puzzles are prevelant in this quest!?! (note to the creator for future quests)

You need the hookshot later...
If you can shoot the gohma from the same line (instead of going south of it), do that. Always shoot as many arrows as you can at a time. Did you get the faster bow from Autumn Town?

I fiddled around in Autumn town for what I thought was to long. I tried the game houses and I explored that haunted house to the point where I figured I needed the mirror shield to deal with the fire ring creating wizards. So I moved on to the Canyon. Arghhh I think I am done with this quest regardless of how much Ive enjoyed the quality. Too much random repetitive timed coordinated frustrating stuff for me perhaps. I say this but in a week or more I will likely give it another go. Then leave it. Maybee try again who knows. In the meanwhile I will download other versions of ZC so I can explore other quality quests besides just the few on 2.10. But the FfHII mod for CivIV has most my attention anyway. I love the TBS games.

I never gave up until Season Isle's boss... Then later continued and gave up at half of the semi-final dungeon... Then beaten the game more times.

Plus, you don't need mirror shield in that house, just the hookshot to stun wizzrobes...

Ahh I did wonder about the stun feature of the Hookshot. Still was pointless all that time I invested in that house prior to even heading to the canyon. Then all the wasted time at the Hideout combined with all the other wasted time.... arghhhh. I hate to give up on anything. And I never gave up on any official Zelda games and defeated all up to that one with Ocarinas whistle. But fun is fun and work is work. And this feels more like work and random stuff than fun and thought. Is a shame since the puzzles have excited me. But the button pushing random sequences and wasted time for nothing has overwhelmed the fun for me for now. At least for right now.....

Hmmm.... I am not sure why that puzzle is giving you that much of a hard time. It is usually other timed puzzles in the end of the game that get people a little frustrated (which I address, that I will keep an eye on in my future quests. My mind set while making this game, was the try try again puzzles if you didn't notice. I wanted a NES feel to the puzzles). But I don't think this game is for you if don't like timed puzzles. Shame, as I said before, I don't think the game gets good until after the 4th level.

Also, the house in Autumn Town. You can beat it without the hookshot, however, I put that there if people wanted to try. It is basically there whenever you want to play through it, though it is a lot easier after say the 6th level. In other words it is just a side quest thing that you don't really even have to beat.

Anyways, again, this game is a little hard, so again, the easier version of HoD will be coming out whenever 2.5 is released. So if you want to play through the easier timed puzzles, I suggest waiting for that.

Also, Evan the Great, if you got to the little eye part on the boss, that is the last part. You just need to reflect the magic into the "little eyes"

Shoelace I think you've done an excellent job here. If it was easy I would have a real problem I guess. As it is this is my standard frustration at button pushing. I have gotten worried at having trouble this early after reading of other timed events etc. But from your learning curve of designing these levels, and from what I have already experienced I really want to explore the rest of this interesting world you have created. If you were a newbie at levels 1-4 then this game must be truly epic for I think thus far the game has been extraordinary. One which had I paid $40 for Ida been happy for my investment.

I think I shouldn't have expressed my frustration at my difficulty playing this game. I really see this guest as a worthy addition to the original Zelda series. You've done a Great Job here and I am very very happy to play a quality quest in Links world. This really is very very cool for me. I've missed this series once I moved to the PC and stopped buying consoles. Finding your quest has been a pleasant surprise for me indeed. I will endeavor through it eventually. It is of far too high a quality for me to abandon it despite my momentary frustrations. These frustrations came with original game and through the next two versions. The Ocarina of Time was my last venture in this world. I have missed it and I thank you for your creativity and time which has made my current venture in this world possble!!

Water:
* Kill all enemies after the room where you have to push blocks
* Hitting the Ghost Patras

Fire:
* Hitting the Snake Head
* Block Puzzle

Forest:
* Hitting the Patra with an arrow
* Bottom Right of the Forest

Quoted from Trimaster's post. They are pretty self explanatory except for the snake head. That is on the upper right hand side. Shoot the snake head with the arrow and then reflect the wizrobes magic into the switch.

I'm stuck big time now. I'm in Level 8

I need a key to go in the miniboss and I'm near a chest room. But the only way to get it is to solve a puzzle that involves 2 floor switches. How do I solve it?

There is a block behind the torch. Push that on the switch and then stand on the last switch. That will lead to the key you need. icon_razz.gif
