Having difficulty finding the bow and arrow is it in level 8 or do I need to look elsewhere?

Hi! Thanks for playing!
The bow is in Level 8. The lens is very helpful here if you don't have it yet. Details about the bow and arrow location are spoilered:

Thanks once again I failed to try everything thought I needed the bow to defeat the crab. Nice quest it makes you think and it seems that you have just enough power to finish each level. I also like that you put enough jars to rebuild I am kind of a slash and dash player but don't mind grinding to power up. I have the key now and trying the optional quest for the last sword ring and tunic but I have run into a problem. Not sure if it is last room but after blowing the whistle the enemy's still don't seem to take any damage even when they are stopped. I am using sword fire boomerang even tried arrows slingshot and fire thrower not sure what else to try. The last part it would of been helpful to have had a heart ring to regenerate but I always like an out hate using potions until I am at the end. Again great quest.

Their weakness is the Gust Jar. It's a little unclear because their sprites flicker, so it's not immediately clear that it's hitting them.
I'm really glad you've enjoyed the game. ![]()

Thought I'd drop in and say that this is a brilliant quest and I have no idea how you'd be able to top it at this point without basically making a second quest or something.
Unfortunately, ZC ate my near-maxed save file (along with a half-completed file for Zelda's Butt and a Lost Isle file in level 7, urrrgh) a couple days ago.
On the bright side I get to play most of the quest again. Yay!

I had some troubles on level five final segment, the part with the tubes.
In one room you fight some dodongos and if you lose with the gleeok later you are screwed cause you dont have any bombs to fight them again.
I know it was my mistake and should use the bombs more efficently but come on... why put dodongos there? the room with the hammer had just a switch and some kees protecting it, why not put the dodongs there instead? that way, if we lose, we dont have to fight them again, is not like they are fun to beat anyways...
Also, start always on the overworld is retard, sorry.
Well i finished, very good use of the items, and the overworld in general was really nice.
Just didnt like the first 2 temples, they were boring
and use the fire rod on level 5 makes the game more linear that it should, but is ok.
Nice quest.

Thanks for playing!
I've heard from some others that have had issues with the dodongos, too. Your point is taken, and I'll certainly give it some more thought.
I'm curious what you mean about always starting on the overworld, though ... Continuing within a level should always start you within the level, and you should only start on the overworld when you select the "save" option. The idea is to give the player a choice of whether they want to continue the level or abort for the time being and explore the overworld more. I have had someone else say they'd prefer to always continue in the level, even when they save, but it's the sort of thing that if I changed I think I'd get some people saying it was better before. Ultimately, I just set it up the same way the original Zelda had it, because that's what feels natural to me.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. ![]()

Just finished with getting the last three items, I was having problems completing the level until I went back and found magic fairy that doubled your magic. After that it wasn't that hard to beat, in fact I got the tunic and the sword without using a potion but was trying to get magic ring and ran out of bombs and had to continue and go grind for some. The last sword is awesome. Not so crazy about purple tunic shows up pink, Loved the quest and looking forward to your next endeavor.

You got the last tunic and sword without a potion? Nice! Pretty sure I couldn't do that. I usually Nayru's Love my way through, using potions to refill my magic. Thanks again for playing.

I thought I'd give this quest another go since the latest update came out.
Well... I made it through all the levels and after finishing level 8, I noticed I missed a memory in one of the dungeons.
Is there any way to tell which memory I missed? Thanks in advance.
