Cool, well good luck.

I wanted to post that this is officially the 100th page of this HoD help thread. That is a lot of Q and A. lol. But it is all worth it, as long as people are happy when they are playing and also finishing my game. Thank you all so very much for making my game so popular. You know, that was my goal, but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would turn out like this. Thank you guys.

Have checked most of the posts and may have missed the answer to this question ?
In the underground section got the one key then made it past the spike room,
defeated the fire dragon but am going nut's with the room with spikes and the hook shot routine,
to get across the gaps but the bobble that is to be whacked with the hammer is down at this point ?
and i am guessing you need him up to whack to make the blocks go down ? Help or am i nut's and missed out on something in the previous spike room ? As i use the protection to get across cause it kept blowing me into the spikes and couldn't hook shot to each section ?

Hmmm.... I read your post a lot of times and I am not sure what you were asking. Or maybe it is too many questions at once. To get the two keys in the sand, you have to hammer around it to get the treasure box to come up. Make sure when you are at the place with the spikes, that you are using the hammer to see where the spikes are. Hope that helps.

For the whack mole thingy, you have to run to it and hit it with the hammer before it runs out. You have a couple of seconds to get to it. Then you can proceed with the level.

No, Shoelace, he asks about the second floor. Those impossible spike puzzles. According to what he says, he went west, arrived to the spikes, went north, shooted the bugs (still spikes), went east, pushed the blocks (still spikes) went north and here he has the problem.

As far as I remember, you need to run up immediately when you enter, hit something there, then shoot something to the right, so you can hookshot to the middle then shoot something again to reveal a switch, then hit a switch to lower those mentioned blocks and go south. The moral in it is that there are some half-visible targets whiches needed to be shooted with the arrow. The spikes are coming way too fast, you need to use Nayru's Love. And remember: when you are hit, you bounce into the opposite direction of where you face.

It's also important that there are 4 keys in floor 2. Two west and two east. In both directions there is one key after the main trap area and one key is blocked by some secret.

You need to boomerang the flying creatures. Then you need to push the mirror so that the magic from the wizrobes can hit the Spirit of Passion. Then basically repeat that process.

Ok trying to clarify my original question for help.
Went through the room where you whack the ground to see the spikes, first part was fairly easy, but the second half had a heck of a time trying to hook shot across as i kept getting blown into the spikes ?

So i used the protection item and made it across that area, Smacked the sand to reveal 1 treasure
chest ? Was there a second one in the same room or did i miss read what you posted ?

The fire dragon was easy to defeat and only lost 4 parts of heart life and made my way up to that area.
Then the fun began trying to hook shot and run past the spikes to whack the mole thingy L O L .

Okay so you are in the last part of the spikes on the first floor. You do have to hammer the ground to see how to get to the door. You will have to run through the wind. But it does show you were the wind is blowing. The Hammer is the key. Once you pass that part, it will lead to another sand pocket, were you will have to hammer to get the key.

Then you will be able to get to the mini boss to the left of the level.

And now getting whacked to death by the paddle guy ?
any hints on how to whoop him ? do pretty good up until he sucks you
in close and whomps ya with that paddle, have tried the hammer, regular boomerang,
magic wand, and bombs but can't figure it out. icon_sigh.gif

icon_blink.gif DUn geez smacks myself with the paddle a few times l o l
So i guess i had a gray moment and didn't think of the obvious, just though it had
to be something from a distance so not to get hit by the paddle.

Now searching more of the next level and finding all kinds of fun puzzles to try and beat.
Your spike and run then arrow the bug one is a killer as the spikes get ya before ya get the last shot and the bug but will keep re-trying to i get it figured out time wise. icon_thumbsup.gif

Well this is my third attempt to finally beat this extremely long quest. Anyway here's a review.

The Good: Loads of puzzles and enemies for you to defeat. Very creative use of the Pure Tileset.

The Bad: Might be too long for beginners. Very high difficulty. Some midi's don't loop

Top 5 Dungeons

5. Level 3 - Very Unique
4. Level 2 - It's like playing the Forsaken Fortress in WW
3. Level 1 - It's just a good dungeon
2. Level 6 - Probably the most beautiful dungeon
1. Level 5 - Great Midi and custom bosses

Most Frustrating Dungeon

Level 4

Level 4 is probably my least favorite dungeon. It takes a very long to time to beat it. Traveling to one flip to another is a chore. It's a pain to bash that Digdogger and losing to him is unforgivable, because you have to do the flip chore over again.

Favorite Custom Boss

Wolfblin (Level 2 Boss)

This is the most creative boss. It's pretty fun to take down this foe.

Most Frustrating Custom Boss

King Dodongo (Level 4 Boss)

If he shoots fire at you, it's all over. If he crushes you, it's all over. If you even go near him, it's all over. Honestly, it takes extremely perfect timing to take down this foe.

Anyway, I'll see if I can finally beat this quest.

QUESTION TO SHOELACE

How do you make certain events in the game occur once?
Examp.
(Gleeok in Death Mountain)
(Hyrule FIeld Stalfoes and the Hookshot)

Hi. I'm stuck at the level 8 boss (not the one in the cave, the next one). I've hit him with the hammer a bunch of times, and he cycles through a bunch of modes, which is all well and good. I get him down to the point where his armor looks like it's falling off, I go through the little spike maze (luckily, not as hard as the spike mazes earlier in the level), and then I'm brought to a room surrounded in spikewalls, with four torches at the corners, and statues blowing at me at the bottom.

I can't figure out what to do in this room. The fire boomerang doesn't lite these torches, and nothing else can even REACH them, since they're at an angle from where you can stand. I've tried hitting all four of the torches, in case there's a special order, but none of them seem to work. I've shot arrows at the statue guys, but that doesn't help either.
