Don't think he's finished yet. I would guess he's recorded up to maybe around just getting some progress into level 12. If it's a major update that affects where he is, he may consider using the updated version.

Not at all. It's mostly just bugfixes and small stuff. The actual additional content in the update is strictly postgame.

So should I start using the new version or just stick with the one I've been using?

I'd say make a back up of your save somehow (put it in a different folder) copy it, put it where it normally is. If it's backwards compatible, I'd update. If it's not then use the back up save (put it in a different folder).
I say put it in a different folder because it seems like even if you name it something different, it gets overwritten.

Done and done, though I have the old version and my save file backed up in case of stupid.

I can't comprehend any reason that it shouldn't be backwards compatible, so let me know if there's any problems.

The fairy outside the dungeon has different dialogue depending on whether or not you have the gold tunic.

Part 51
I have never liked wizzrobes. This new variety doesn't just underscore this, it bolds it, italicizes it and puts it in all caps.
Something tells me Moosh made Evan put those guys in, given the former has a bit of a fetish for wind enemies. But yeah, did that really give you a good jimmy rustling? Of all the mean things Evan has thrown at you, this has to be one of the meanest. I also noticed that the wind has a slight homing factor and it seems to try to aim at you. To think you've only barely scratched the surface of level 12. I can't wait to see how you react to the other mean tricks it has up its sleeves.
All I can say is welcome to the Game Over Temple of Suffering and WIND WIZZROBES.

Actually Moosh wanted vanilla ZC wind and I absolutely will never use that in any of my quests. So we came up with this alternative after looking at how laughably inept the default drunk status is in ZC.

Also two videos in a row where you failed to recognize the Hamiltonian path puzzle to make the staircase appear. I'm hoping you figure that one out before too much longer. I hope I'm not sounding too critical though; I love watching your LP. It can just be a bit frustrating watching you look at the same puzzle multiple times and go "Welp, nothing to do here," like with the pushable torches in level 10.

The more you watch my videos, there more you realize there is no such thing as "too obvious".
