I seem to recall there being one in either Level 2 or 3. I mostly remember due to me wasting it. I have no idea where it was though, or if my memory is even accurate to begin with,
There's also one inside level 4 itself, but A: that's sort of a moot point, and B: you need to have completed about 3/4th to 7/8th of said dungeon to get it (You need the Flippers). Either way, that one is not of any help to you, so eh.

level 4's boss is the toughest so far mainly because it's a small room and the damage is intense, even with a red potion
Im gonna do some more exploring
So far I would say this is tied with Isle of Rebirth because the tedious factor is about the same, ill leave a review when im done with this

Pay close attention to what happens in the adjacent rooms.

Really? I found that boss relatively easy. Tip: Don't bother killing any of the little enemies, just focus on the boss. Shoot it once or twice, then get out of the way to the north or south to dodge both its shots and its charge. Afterwards, get back on the center island and repeat the loop.

@Solairflaire:
There are a total of 7 enchanted chests, with a few of them being inaccessible until after Level 7/8.

I will fix that issue. I do want to mention though that switch has nothing to do with the Timeshift Serenade. Also, you do not have to first find Mr. Left, talking to Mr. Right twice should net the letter to Mr. Left. And yay, NotRoc's feather! You're about to enter my favorite dungeon.@Joki:You can get the shield four places. In Level 1, in Dungeon of Trials 1 (near the end), in Level 4, and after level 4 in Snowfall Village.
@zcfan:
There are two keys in that part of the dungeon that you'll need and a walkthrough wall in the room above the picture you posted. The chasers are intended to give it away by rushing into the wall.Also, the medusa type enemies in the Great Caves can be stunned with the boomerang or hookshot. They are a bit annoying, but just treat them with caution. Ore Bullets work quite well too. I'm not sure quite who it was that was stuck in Turtle Rock, but the Great Caves aren't a part of Turtle Rock much. If you get to a part of that cave system that looks to hard, it probably is and you aren't intended to do that yet. (I would never make you battle hardly any splitting darknuts without the hammer or access to the hammer).
Thanks. Was worked Id have to do level 4 without one!

@neobullseye
Yeah i figured it needed bullets since one eyed creatures weakness is always some type of projectile
@Obderhode
I found two glitched tiles, and this "puzzle" resets with no way of opening back up, I think someone reported it a while back but theres like glitch city when you swim west of dhona

I would strongly suggest finding some way for the game to remember how much money you have because I found it extremley annoying when I found a 200 rupee with almost a full wallet, if you can't do it, dont worry
about it. Also suggest the same concept for magic sheilds or bought items
This was with the the updated qst file since I was able to enter level 5 but cant do anything yet since I have yet to finish level 4's boss

It's accquired through a semi-long chain of deals. Read as little or as much as you like. Note: This will be a complete walkthrough for that item, not a simple hint. Scroll past if it you don't want to get spoiled.
- First off, go to Mr. Right, who lives in the starter town.
- After talking to him, go to Mr. Left, who lives in the town where the tower where you got the harp is.
- Then go back to Mr. Right yet again. He'll give you a letter to bring to Mr. Left. Do so.
- Upon giving Mr. Left the letter (and after a longish rant), go back to the Training Fields.
- Due south of where you enter the Training Fields, there should be a burnable bush. Hookshot it, theb burn it with the Candle.
- Follow the short cave up to the exit, where you'll find a switch that lowers a peg. Along with this peg, two other pegs further down the path to the first sword was were also lowered. Go there.
- You'll find Mr. Left there. Upon walking up to him, a mini-boss appears. The Slingshot is very effective on it.
- After killing the boss, go back to Mr. Left's house. He should give you the "Letter", which allows you to buy potions at the local shop (for obscene amounts of money, but eh.) DO NOT buy them just yet.
-After you receive the Letter, go talk to Malon. She'll tell you to get Chicken Feed, which you can buy from the Cucco Guy in the first town for 200 Rupees. Do so, and bring the Food back to her.
- She'll now tel you to get some sheet music from the mayor. Problem is, the guy's dead, and he has apparently taken the music with him to his grave.
- The mayor's grave is not in the graveyard. Rather, it's that strange cave under the twin tombstones you couldn't do anything in before in the first town. Enter it, push the gravestone inside the cave, then go to the basement.
- Upon entering the next room, a Poe spawns. It has a LOT of health, but is relatively simple. Kill it, then grab the Sheet Music from the chest in the next room.
- Finally, return to Lon Lon Ranch. The shed that was blocked off before is now opened up. Enter it and talk to Malon. A somewhat long rant later, you have the second song.
I didn't get a letter from Mr left. I got a shop membership card.
Plus Malon doesn't say anything new… bitch.

Damn I guess it's impossible for me to get the second song since I already bought a potion. but I don't know for sure
Edit:
I have the same issue because I tried talking to malon before buying a potion

That's good to know!
The system I was referring to was turtle rock in the present.
Dive in the back, and there's a room with a pit, below that three of those nasty crystal guys that mess with your items. A room with more of them below that, and then 2 rooms to the right of there a cramped space room with 4 terribly tough dark nuts. So I went to the wrong place I guess?

Meh, I just put that there because the Potions are stupidly expensive, and you'll need the money soon. As for why Malon's text won't change, that's strange. Maybe I missed a flag somewhere? Try talking to both Mr. Left and Mr. Right again, along with the people close to Mr. Left's house?

Sort of. In the room just before you meet the three Ble Crystarocs, you should've gone to the right rather than down.

You can't miss the Timeshift Serenade. The exact order of things you need to do is:
1 - Retrieve the Letter to Mr. Left from Mr. Right in Gly'cov.
2 - Deliver the letter to Mr. Left and he'll mention he's gonna get brave and retrieve the sword from the training grounds.
3 - Find him in the training grounds and save his life.
4 - Return back to him and earn the Shopkeeper's Mark, allowing you to buy potions.
5 - IF you have cleared the tower of time and received the Tune of the Temporal Gates, Malon will acknowledge how helpful you are and notice your harp, and send you to get Chicken Feed.
6 - Return with the chicken feed and go to Rutherford's Grave in Gly'cov.
7 - Battle Poe Rutherford (preferably with the candle) and earn Rutherford's Song.
8 - Return to her and she'll translate it as the Timeshift Serenade.
All of this is a requirement to learn the final song as well.
@Joki:
Oh yeah, no really cramped rooms to clear in Turtle Rock. You'll have the blue tunic by the time you have to face that part and even then, it is optional. Who knows, might even have the red tunic. ![]()
@Neobullseye:
Oh, you remembered to go back to Turtle Rock! You'll probably love what you're about to get from that segment.
And thanks to everyone for the bug reports! Will do everything I can to address all of them. A common one I'm hearing is the "can swim off screen near Level 5 Tower entrance". I had so meant to block all of that off. Just just know, no point in exploring glitch world. ![]()
