Some undead enemies are also apparently weak to the silver arrows, not sure how that works.

I would assume this is because silver is generally used as a holy element for weapons in fantasy- being effective against lycanthropes, devils, and wights, for example.  It's also Ganon's weakness, as we all know.  Although since Ganon is a demon king, his weakness is supposed to be Cold Iron D:<

 

I should try this quest now that it's basically done.

You mean level 7? try looking a little bit north of the main entrance. You'll have to push some more skulls.

I finished Level 8, the quest is a walk in the park now, lol. I started to use arrows and bombs and they worked like a dream.

Has the boss from level 7 some special strategy that I missed? Now I feel like I was goofing all the game, lol... I'm a fool ;_;

 

What is the price for beating the Secret Tunnel? I'm a bit lazy now, honestly. Is it worth it?

The prize for the Secret Tunnel is the Lightning Medallion which gives you fast regenerating magic (thus making the magic armor and cane of byrna more viable.). The tunnel is very hard, deliberately mean, and has some in-jokes and makes fun of my terrible old quest.

That was me. I'm glad you liked it. He didn't come out perfect (I couldn't make him animate the way he does in LttP), but I'm pretty happy with the result.

I updated the quest again. The L7 boss is now just a stock ZC boss but buffed up some. It's still better than what used to be there, though.

 

Also, L7 has fewer shutters, a couple new smaller shortcuts, and fewer small rooms filled with lots of enemies.

The strategy for the old level 7 boss was to kill the octoroks with their own rocks, then in the moblin phase leave two alive. This prevents the summoners from stacking up against you and you can easily take them out one at a time. The old level 6 boss had no such strategy.
 

What is the price for beating the Secret Tunnel? I'm a bit lazy now, honestly. Is it worth it?

As Bagel said, beating Secret Tunnel gives you a magic ring. Honestly I'd say the dungeon isn't quite worth the reward. It felt like the kind of dungeon that would make you very angry, especially if the boss is unchanged from my playtesting run (spoilers, it involved summoners). If you're going to do Secret Tunnel, though, I suggest you do it before fighting the final boss so you can end the quest on a (hopefully) good note.

Great final boss (who's the mastermind?). I think this quest would be much better with a bit more of time, and polishing some things. But overall, I liked it (without counting levels 6-7). I would have liked that there are more ALTTP enemies and bosses and fewer overpowered enemies xD

While scripting is cool and all, there's just no way to recreate a pure LTTP experience in ZC. I can only do some of it.

 

Try another playthrough and see if the changes to level 6 and 7 make them better? I updated the quest today.

Whoaaaa you got that far without it? You could have gotten it after level 4. You need the magic mirror and the hammer to get it. Try looking around in the dark world for magic mirror pictures on the ground.

 

Small update today to fix the red potion bug (if you got a heart container your red potion would disappear, if you had one.)
