Found a bug:



If you pass the walkthrough wall to the left, you arrive to the Trial of Power

By the way, I never would have found the trial without the lens of truth

Finished level 7, two questions:

What's the purpose of the Boots?

Is there a fourth medallion in the desert? It was clear that the last direction was "up", but I never found the last one.

That explains it. I must have passed into the Trial of Power and beaten it without realizing I switched areas. Welp, guess we found our problem, lol.

In level nine now. Once I beat this I'll be able to give a final verdict. And possibly go collect some other things if I feel like it.

Alright, I beat it. That level nine was brutal, even with the red tunic. It was otherwise a good level, though the flashing floor could be painful in a few places. I mean if you time it well it's fine, the only real time it gave me a problem was in the boss key room, but that was because of the difficult-to-kill enemies. And by that I just mean the fire bats that can only be killed by the Gust Jar. Unless there's another way to kill them and I just wasn't paying attention. Still, all in all, pretty good quest, I'm gonna put a comment on it soon and hopefully can squeeze all my thoughts into it.

One thing I'd point out in the credits: You spelled Radien's name wrong.

There's also what appears to be graphical errors on this credits screen, spoilered because credits:

And yeah, apparently that was the Trial of Power I snuck into and beat, because I got the Trial of Power item instead of Nayru's Love; didn't pay attention before. So that was due to that bug Air Luigi found.

Thanks to both of you. Dang, that graphical glitch arose from one of the most recent updates. How embarrassing ... Fixed it and the trial issue.

AirLuigi: I think you're probably missing the medal from the ring of stones in the desert. You use the whistle there. The boots just serve a story purpose in explaining why you can walk around underwater.

Here is an updated quest file. Please download it so the ending doesn't look like crap ...

Spelunker: From the beginning, you headed left underwater to get the key. If you head right instead, you'll be able to bomb through a few rooms to progress. One thing to remember is that all bombable walls are in the center of the screen.



I've bombed just about everywhere in this room, no luck. Guess I must be missing something.

Level 9? Where is it?

Think about an overworld screen you've never been able to access. There's something in your inventory that can get you there.

Spelunker: It should be smack in the middle in the top of the room near where the path dead-ends. If that doesn't work for some reason, then there's a problem ...

Could someone post a screenshot of where the bomb spot is in this room? I've tried almost everywhere.

Really sorry this is giving you so much trouble. It won't work underwater, but if this becomes a consistent issue you can find the Lens somewhere on the overworld now. (Location spoilered). Another thing to remember is that the bomb and walkthrough walls in this quest are always in the exact middle of the screens. They may look offset in some rooms because of the shape, but they're always right in the middle.

Dive in the eastern part of the ruins in the pool beneath the potion shop and bomb the wall there to find a shop selling the lens for 450 rupees. If you don't have the bigger wallet, you can find it in the village pond.

Air Luigi: Congrats, I'm glad you enjoyed it! There's probably been others, but you're the first I've seen who's collected everything. And thanks again for helping me squash that bug.

Spelunker: Try searching the left side of level seven. As others have pointed out, I go a little overboard with bomb and walkthrough walls; you'll need several keys to reach it. The Lens will certainly help.
