I think I know the shop you are talking about, but I don't think I've ever gotten the door to open.

Edit: Found it. Now I'm going to take on the 64-room final dungeon.

it's not at level eight anymore, but I think it's still at the shop he mentions. in the snow section there is a shop with a breakable jar directly in front of the door. I think it's still available there.

level three is reached through level two, right? level three is the one in that same snowy region, right?

OMG...! I've downloaded this quest yesterday 01/02/09 --(this is the lasted updated)

beside I don't see any significant changes to the quest, just some bugs fixed !

I dunno Vravelo. I played it on 1.90, downloaded the newest version, and the item on the mountain is the fire boomerang. The hookshot is in the shop, and I did finally figure it out and beat the final dungeon.

NINCENESS! it's awesome that multiple people have beaten the final dungeon! I so glad you all post here, as it really helps me to understand what you encounter and enjoy in the quest. any comments you have would be appreciated, so don't hold back the tiniest detail! anything YOU would change if it was yours to alter? please hit me with anything you can think of about the quest.

well, I'd need somebody to teach me to use a newer version. 1.90 I was able to figure out with the tutorials, but the new ones look so damned confusing that I don't think I could figure it all out myself. maybe.

edit: plus, I still have touching up to do with HowHigh. the list I made of things that are wrong, that I found playing through to level six, is vast, so I have plenty to fix. I still need to play the second half, too, so there will be more fixes to add. then I want to go through EVERYTHING, screen by screen. when I feel like I'm done with all of that, I'll probably ask you to run through it again for me, V. maybe after all of that I'll try version 2-point-something.

each level is West of the last. there's an item and a subscreen on almost every single screen in the quest. good luck!

Nope, I'm still stuck. Trying to find level 5 and/or some dynamite.

level five is just a couple of screens West of level four. go a few screens left of four and uncover stairs to five. when you get dynamite, you can only hold 1/4 of your bombs maximum, so pick them up wisely and place them down wisely (and back up!). good luck!

Where can we find the lens, pls? Maybe this will help to expand exploration of level 6 beyond the upper rooms and also the roof of level 7 where I can't seem to get to the boots or anything else. Thx for your help, Trudatman.

the sunglasses are a VERY hard item to score. the one thing to keep in mind is that almost every overworld screen has an item and a subscreen. that rule of searching for both in ever new screen will serve you well. go back through old ones and decide if you found both. now, as for level seven, you will have to fight through the hot roof to get the boots. when you first touch the roof, turn left or right before you are bumped back into the dungeon. fight your way to the boots. good luck and feel free to ask for more help if you struggle with anything for too long. I may upload a fix update later this morning, as I have recently fixed about a dozen small problems. I'll try to play more into the game, fix a few things and then post an update link. stay tuned. thanks!

What I supposed to do with that "GAS CAN" I've found on that room???
there's no car to drive in here, and no gas station to purchase any gasoline though"
then what that gas can" doing on this quest?
that one thing, I never found explanation for....
