im using this to make my next quest and i can say that this tileset is wonderful. however a few bugs i encountered:
when you run into the armos he gets stuck in his own space because the armos combo does not change to the undercombo. yes, i checked that it was an armos type combo.
the custom enemies dont work
is this a problem with me or the tileset?
edit: i loaded the original tileset quest again and the custom enemies work there... i made my quest by deleting the maps in the quest i downloaded and then saving as a different quest. it should've still worked right?
another edit: i replaced the sign script already in there with a different sign script, so would that have cause the problem? its still in the same place and didnt effect the spots of the other scripts.

Description
Pure Tileset Basic is an updated version of Wild Bill's Pure Tileset V2 (Beta 182) that is designed to maintain the simplicity of the original Pure Tileset while setting things up to build a fully functional Zelda Classic 2.50 quest out of the box. This tileset won't overwhelm you with tons of graphical varieties you are likely to never use. If the set doesn't have something you want, there is also plenty of room to add it in yourself.
Here is a rundown of the features in the tileset:
- Anyone familiar with Pure Tileset V2's simple combo layout will have no trouble adjusting to this set.
- All of the default 2.50 enemies have been set up.
- All of the default 2.50 items are fully functional.
- New palettes, including a new default overworld palette.
- Some Combo Aliases.
- Favorite combos which can act as bookmarks.
- Relational drawing and dungeon carving combos have been set up.
- A new Link sprite that is set up to function with 2.50.
- Non-solid water so that drowning can work.
- Custom subscreens to fit all of the new items.
- Graphical fixes to some of the tiles, combos, and sprites from Pure Tileset V2.
- Many convenient combo types such as Bush->Next, Slash->Next, and treasure chests have been implemented.
- New sound effects.
- Functional lock blocks since V2 lacked them for some reason.
- The scrolls are not just pictures of scrolls with hard to tell variations. Yes. This is a feature.
- Pre-compiled scripts for things such as signs. You don't have to know anything about scripting in order to use them since they are already set up and functional in the tileset.
- Some new enemies thanks to pre-compiled scripts.
- Plenty of room for expansion!
If you use this tileset, be sure to read the readme and look at the images in the Tutorials folder or you might miss out on some of the features.

Sideview Ladder script in this topic: https://www.purezc.co...showtopic=56607
LinktheMaster - Sign/npc script, coming up with the idea of updating the original Pure Tileset and pitching it at me a few times and supporting me throughout the endeavour.
The latest PureZC Group Quest Attempt - They sort of nudged me into finally doing this. It's fitting since one of the earliest PureZC Group Quests nudged Wild Bill into making the first Pure Tileset release faster.
Nick - Putting the tileset together, making filler graphics, making Link into Mr. Fantastic instead of a force user when charging a sword, and a few scripts.
And the PureZC community for helping out and giving support!
