Spinning Earth From Earth Bound (Mother 1) by Zim Elite
Updated: 31 Aug 2011 Posted: 31 Aug 2011 Tags: 16-color, Ripped, and 1 more Rating[?]: Rating: 3/5 (1 rating) Information:
This is the spinning Globe from Earth Bound (or Mother 1) from the NES. Yes, the game was translated and localized, but it was never released. The intended name was going to be Earth Bound, but it was never released due to the SNES coming into picture and the NES dying.

Earth Bound is not Earthbound. Earthbound Zero is just a fan name.

Well, yeah. It took about half an hour to rip and align for Zelda Classic use. I personally used 10 frame speed (or w/e) and it looks pretty good. :)

Inspired by Mr. Pimpy's Hylian font, here's the Hylian font from Wind Waker. Each character is only 2 colors (black and background), so they can be put into any tileset you want.
Crystal Zelda Title by MrMister
Updated: 09 Sep 2009 Posted: 09 Sep 2009 Tags: Original, Titlescreen Rating[?]: Rating: 4/5 (2 ratings) Information:
My second Zelda title! This one is a little more detailed. The entire title uses six colors, two unique to the title and two unique to the crystal background.
The ZIP file contains the title with the crystal and the crystal only, if you wish to make your own title in front of the crystal.

Credit not required, but appreciated! :)

This is a simple Zelda title anyone can use for your own quest's title screen. It only uses 5 colors so it's rippable into any tileset! Just recolor and go!
It's also very expandable, add anything to it!

Credit not required, but very much appreciated. :)

A friend of mine was working on a quest called, Stolen Light. I made this title screen for him, but he gave up on Zelda Classic. So, I'm releasing it to PureZC so it doesn't go to waste.
Wind Waker Link Portrait Reimaging by Radien

I'm not really one who tries to get into oneupmanship... really, I'm not. But when I saw the Wind Waker Link portrait in the database, I got to thinking "I'm sure Paintshop is capable of more than that when it comes to cel-shaded."

Before I knew it, I had spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to reduce colors effectively, and thanks to color replacement and a tool called "Median Cut," I ended up with this portrait.

These tiles are made for a title screen image. I recommend putting a t [View Full Description]

UPDATE: More corrections. I noticed there is some yellow near the right eye. Again, you may need to reload it's pallette when ripped in.

UPDATE: Made some pixel color corrections. Look at the difference. I had made sure it is a 16 color pallette.

Took a scan of the image from the blue booklet from the copy of Wind Waker. Then I erased the blue background carefully around the character. Resized the image to fit in the ZC screens. Blackened the background (background will only be transparent [View Full Description]

This is pretty much a major update of Teilyr's old OoT title.

Changes:

--Realistic lighting effect added by using gradients
--Changed palette to enhance realism and accuracy
--No borders
--Background color reflects that of OoT box art and doesn't drown title in brightness(Neon purple is out!)

This is a 16-color background of an Overlook from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.

This background has 2 different uses:
* A Title Screen
* An Overlook background for overworlds.

There shouldn't be a problem ripping this into your quest.

Doctor Who Title Screen by Limzo
Updated: 31 Jul 2007 Posted: 31 Jul 2007 Tags: 16-color, Edited, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.71/5 (6 ratings) Information:
Beta Link has began making a Doctor Who quest, so I decided to help him and make a title screen for him. I found an animated picture of the Doctor Who TARDIS on the internet, and after some hard work, I managed to get it into ZC. Then, in Photoshop, I managed to use and abuse every suitable effect to create a Time Vortex background, that began simply as purple circles of gradually darkening colours radiating from the centre. A reduced colour version of a photograph ofthe Doctor Who logo was o [View Full Description]
Doctor Who '80s Logos by Bayta
Updated: 08 Dec 2007 Posted: 31 Jul 2007 Tags: 16-color, Ripped, and 1 more Rating[?]: Rating: 3.75/5 (3 ratings) Information:
I originally made this because I was going to use it in my Doctor Who quest in ZC. But then Limzo made me a remake of the new logo, which looks much better than this. But I'm not going to let a week's work go to waste, now am I? ;) Anyway, for those of you who don't know, this is the logo from the TV show Doctor Who. This particular logo was used during the early-to-mid '80s. Also, don't bother asking me how you can use it in a quest, because other than to make a Doctor Who game, I have no frick [View Full Description]

Got bored, so I ripped this from the N64 game, Doubutsu no Mori (or as we know it in America, Animal Crossing). Aside from the transparent color, it only uses 3 colors, so it even works with the classic set! Try it out!
Ocarina of Time Title for ZC by Anthus

First things first: This image suffered from some more-than-minor color loss. That is the price you pay for taking something from a High-res (620x480) N64 game, and cramming it into a smaller resolution (246x320?), and a sixteen color palette :P

For what it is worth, here it is. Oh, and did I mention it uses only sixteen colors? I think I did. Import the palette over your tilesets "title" palette. This example may apply only in Pure. If not, make a new one.
