Information
I got to say it's about time I finally got this on PureZC, but this completed quest has just been sitting on my ZC folder for quite a while now and I finally decided to release this Metroid-style quest.

Description
This is Metroid Confusion and involves the world of Super Metroid and the original Metroid put together. This is one of my earliest quests (as early as when the Quest of Beings was released) and I never managed to finish it until probably 2011-12. When it was completed, I wasn't too sure whether to submit this or not, but I finally managed to decide. This quest was originally for 2.10 but when I replayed it out of boredom, I decided to polish it a bit for 2.5 and this is the final result.
If you find any bugs, errors or glitches let me know through a PM or a comment and I'll try to fix them in an update.
I hope you guys enjoy, it might be better than expected!
UPDATE 1: Fixed an odd continue bug in Ridley's battle.

Story
Are you familiar with the story of Metroid? If so, I think you know what the story of this quest is already.
Tips & Cheats
Bombs and "Power" Bombs are unlimited, you can use bombs forever and never run out, abuse them if you wish.
Think Super Metroid, the order of bosses and where you're going next is exactly the same as Super Metroid, just with 2 added areas (Kraid and Ridley's areas)
Backtracking is key, it's like this for every Metroid game.

A decent Metroid game with some clever ideas. I haven't played all of them but I still rate Exate's XL-75 remake as the best Metroid quest. Including the grapple beam seems dumb as you only use it once. Overall this feels like a game with more potential than anything. Not being able to upgrade the shield item was really annoying, especially with all the mirrorobes late in the game. Between them and the multiple splitting darknuts in nearly every room the game often felt too hard in lower Norfair and Ridley's lair. Yet sometimes with the infinite power bombs and nearly infinite super missiles the game felt almost absurdly easy. It often felt like one or the other as opposed to just right. Like I said, there's potential here, but much of it seems unrealized. I beat it in just over 3 hours. Three stars (average) feels right.

This was a good quest. 4 game hours it took me, but they were challenging. I'm giving this a 4.2/5. I can't give it a 5 for a couple reasons.
1. I know it's hard to make a Metroid-esque quest, but some of the enemies got me confused....(where a Stalfos/Darknut enemy looked alike)
2. Trying to go up or down some of the ladders were a little hassle..died a couple times in that process. Note to myself:Kill all enemies in your way before going up the path
NOTE:I beat the final boss on the first attempt
So again, 4 is my grade. Good job on it. But keep in mind that you can improve on this.

^Check it outs ..*
PLEASE Could anyone do like a Topdown view KID ICARUS Engine thing in Zelda Classics?
Reason why is BOW and ARROW would be perfect for Kid Icarus Primary weapon besides Link's slashing blade.
Bow and arrows being already built into Zelda Classic from the start anyways.
'Turn Links Sprite into Kid Icarus would be epics.*
I Thinks would be a dream come true.* Master Metroid clone game maker Expert. *!0~0!* Waiting for that, a Kid Icarus scripting with overworld of the underworld and monster sprites of that game too.*
^That idea i haves not seen in Zelda Classics yet.'
Grim Reapers on topdown view Zelda Style dungeons freaking outs would kick A-s.* In place or Armos or etcz at least. -There insane theme playing in the backdrop temporarily when coming after the player spawning his mini reapers.
