Lost Traveler Town Preview
This special demo was created especially for those that I've made cameo characters for. Most of these cameo characters made an appearance in Demo 2.1, but the demo doesn't go to the underworld. It's short (as the town's DMap is only 15 screens total) but you at least get the feel of the town. I was tempted to let you visit all the houses, so you could talk to all the cameo characters, but I changed my mind because that would spoil it for the final version of the quest! So, I sealed off all but 3 of the houses by putting the character(s) that you find inside the house right in front of the doorway (or at least on the same screen). There's only 1 cameo character that you can talk to inside a house and 2 cameo characters in the main town itself, not to mention a few other familiar characters that you can talk to as well. Plus, as a demo-only bonus, I've hidden ruppee items (5, 20, 50) on all 15 of the town's screens. (You may find one or two inside the houses, as well!) They won't all be there in the final version, but I figured I'd have some fun hiding them so you could go seek! I've done the same thing in my quest, where I've hidden items for you to find, though not all are in plain sight (as you'll notice in this demo). Anyway, have fun with it! (Don't expect to leave, BTW; it'll just warp you back to town.) |
