It appears I haven't given this quest a review before, so I'll take the opportunity to do so now. Firstly, this is a very creative idea for a quest, and as others have said, you'll learn to really despise a lot of these rules that get thrown at you. Before this recent update came around, I recall there being some really nasty rules that made the quest a bit on the unfair side of things, though I'm very happy to see that some rules have been replaced and altered with better ones that are more fair, but still really annoying lol. Either way, the rules add a lot to the quest and makes it so much more enjoyable. In a way, it feels like you're constantly learning from your mistakes and ended up making me paranoid over everything I do.

But yeah the issues I used to have with the quest are no more thanks to this update, so I'm pretty happy I replayed this quest. An easy 5/5 from me, I had a lot of fun with this one!

I have already posted my thoughts in the thread for this, and in the comments, but I forgot to actually give it a rating. I'm giving this 4, which might seem high to some, but I actually really like this idea. It has never been done before, and it presents a unique set of randomly generated challenges. It can border on kaizo difficulty at times but it is not a bad thing if you are into that type of quest. This is not a easy quest, or even always a fun quest, but it really shows off a cool idea, and shows what Zc is capable of. I would have never thought of something like this, so kudos. :)

I really would like to see a more balanced (or not!) sequel to this.

A fantastic quest! The difficulty got absolutely hilarious once ALL 35 of the rules were forced on me, but I persevered and managed to 100% the quest in a very unimpressive three hours. There's a lot that this quest brings to the table, including unique (and thankfully, short) merging block puzzles, some slightly-edited enemies and custom bosses, as well as the rule system itself. My only complaint would be two bugs, which manage to make the game a bit easier. Firstly, you can evade the no-map rule by just pressing F5 and taking a look at the map screenshot. Secondly, it's possible to save and quit while the rule-breaking message is up, effectively making it impossible to die. But other than these bugs, it's a short but well polished quest way up there with IWBTG and Meat Boy with it's difficulty! Very enjoyable.

As much as I hated some of the rules, the trial and error aspect is what kept my rating at 5. Music is fantastic, and the block puzzles were very neat.

This quest is awesome. Every time I die, it's because I've failed to learn something. You will develop an irrational hatred of octorocks and hearts, (because it is the right thing to do.) You will learn to hate everything you love, and to love everything you hate.

I hate this quest. Man, the "No Map button" rule was mean :( Due to it, I couldn't find the Graveyard Level XD Alas, you never dissapoint ;) (And most of the rules suck :P )

I finished this in 1:17... With more than 20 rules.... What's the max number of rules? o_O Thank god is a super short quest xD I love the sense of urgency here, although the new rules come too fast.

Finished third level and got new rule: "No hitting Peahats" and on my way to level 4 I missed sword beam shot at Moblin. And that flying sword hits recently landed Peahat... INSTANT DEATH!!! No sell!!

This game is infuriating! The rules make for an awkward playstyle, piss you off whenever you make a simple mistake, and by God this is fantastic.
