Airfart: New Cambria quest? Seems exciting. I'm fond of this style of using the Cambria bushes as an overhead tree layer. What's the object next to Link? A table or some kind of cart?

Anthus: I thought this style was cool in your 64 screen tech demo too. Just needs an awkwardly squished prerendered big Link and a gradient subscreen using too many colors now. 

Mani Kanina: We should normalize script showcase screenshots more. It's a nice script. Feels like there's a lot of empty space behind the counter but I suppose that's also so the edge is flush with the carpet.

Orithan: I think this one's my favorite this week. I'm not the biggest fan of the darker saturated orange the set uses for grass in this palette, but I like the composition of the screen itself. Is it just me or is the LttP catfish sprite somewhat uncommon in ZC? Best not anger him, he may give you a free item.

Hello, yes, I'm here to advertise my shop script. It recently got some big updates and should support almost any contemporary use case. But if you feel like a feature is missing then feel free to poke me and I'll look into making additions.

Mani: This script is very nice I'm using it myself. And I agree with Moosh we should normalize script showcase screenshots more. Also your wallet is a bit light. so in the words of morshu "I'm sorry Mani I can't give credit come back when you're a little mmm richer." You have no idea how long I've been waiting to use this quote Mani. Thank you. Voted here.

Orithan: Despite these tiles all coming from different zelda games and deeply saturated orange everything here blends very well

It's been awhile since I posted but I thought I'd drop in my two cents.

 

Airfart - I love the feel of your shots. Your forests remind me of some classic NES games, particularly 2d scrolling games like Battle of Olympus. Your quest looks like a lot of fun to play.

 

Anthus - I love the feel of this shot. To me it screams of Saga Frontier which I'm in the midst of playing. The 2d / 3d style which mixes 3d graphics, 2d sprites, and maybe some hand-drawn art. Like Saga Frontier, there is such a strange clashing of styles that somehow works and creates such a charm in my opinion. Voted here.

 

Mani Kanina - A functional shot that I see is to show off the shop script. The quest looks fun to play, and I love the creativity with shops that go outside the standard "BUY SOMETHIN' WILL YA!" three item format.

 

Orithan - I LOVE this shot. It looks so much like Link's Awakening which is one of my all time favorites and such a fun game to play.

 

Love the shots, love the content, and love seeing you wonderful creators sharing your work. It's always such a joy to see these every week:)
