All of them are nice, but I'm voting for Moosh. While there's nothing really wrong with the other screens, Moosh was just the most visually striking for me.

Shane's screens and their style have felt kind of overexposed for me as of late. While there isn't anything wrong with them, and they are really good, many of Shane's shots just seem to sort blend together, despite being from various environments. Maybe I'm just getting tired of this style of EZGBZ use. I must admit, I've contributed to this trend of EZGBZ overuse.

Redtribe Link's shot is nice, but rather simple. It's nothing too phenomenal, but I like that classic is seeing some appreciation!

Astromeow's was my second pick. I really like this Tileset, and I appreciate that it's been getting more exposure recently. I'd also like to see you make some more environments with it aside from deserts, Astromeow! Especially since you're so talented with it.

In all, good job everyone! I voted for Moosh just because it's unique and interesting in a competition where the victors are increasingly becoming EZGBZ screens that feel like a blur.

Moosh - Neat screenshot, but I'd say it's a little too bland for my tastes. The perspective is really cool though and I definitely get some Earthbound vibes from that, but it's nothing too spectacular. (Also love that DMap title)

 

Shane - Really fantastic screen. Probably one of the only shots where I've seen castle tiles used really well. I love the vegetation and I love how everything looks overall.

 

RedTribeLink - Really neat screenshot. As I said over in the screenshot thread, Link still looks badly out of place (so does the Deku Scrub now that I'm looking at it), and can really use a change, but other than that, nice work with the screen overall. I especially do like the colours here.

 

Astromeow - Interesting screen here, I really like the pits near the top of the screen and this is a very interesting use of the Revenge 2.5 Tileset. Nice work!

 

I voted for Shane this month, with Astromeow in close second.

I voted Moosh because of the "hey, that's cool" factor. I can't say it's better than the other screens, but it feels like something I haven't seen a lot of, and the other screens, while not bad, just aren't as good as entries in the last several weeks.

This was not my own doing actually, ZC decided it must be so. While testing my side warp script I accidentally used the same variable twice and so ZC tried to use warp 32 and began generating its own dmaps. That mass of white pixels in the top left isn't my doing either. I think those might be letters and ZC just forgot to space them apart. The 202 was mine though. I was debugging some other stuff when it happened.
