It's was incredibly easy to set up, and worked like a charm!
The only things that could have improved it would be if the font used for the boss's name could be adjusted more easily, whether through an argument or with a variable that could be easily changed, since the main selling point here is being able to easily match any tileset the quest comes in. The other thing that could be added would be to adjust the Y-coordinate via an argument, for fights that include multiple targets.
Still, it's a great script and I'm very happy with how it turned out.
EDIT: All of my comments have been addressed with the new update. Now it works perfectly and I can't think of a single negative thing to this, however minor.

While playing quests that feature custom bosses (especially ghosted ones), I was annoyed by one quite maddening fact: you can`t know how how many HP the boss still has left! Especially annoying when you are low on HP and have a dilemma: should you just drink valuable potion for a chance of finishing off that nasty monster, or hit F6 and restart. Even more annoying with bosses that require limited resources, like bombs or arrows, to defeat. I have seen a Z2-styled boss HP meter script, but it has hardcoded indicator setup and can`t be adapted to suit any other tileset beyond Classic.
So I have created my own version of boss health meter that pretty much mimicks Link`s one in the passive subscreen.
Update: Added an arguments to set font for boss name drawing and to alter boss HP meter`s Y position.
Update #2 Added ability to draw customizable background beneath Boss HP gauge.
Also added possibility to hide boss HP meter until Link obtains specific item.

Update #3 Added intro string, Megaman-like intro HP generation and multi-row carryover for OP bosses on request by SkyFlare. It`s recommended to do full set up from scratch to update your quests to new version of this script.
