THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE FIRST VERSION OF THIS QUEST. NOT THE UPDATED VERSION.
Anyway, with that out of the way. This was a very enjoyable quest. I enjoyed the overworld, and how it was split into sections was a really nice touch, also how each section was recognisable as different from the others was also good, so I knew exactly which section I was in.
The dungeons were well designed, and I enjoyed roaming through them. Level 1 was a pretty good basic starting level. However, the instant respawn in this version was most annoying here. Level 2 was very good as well, although not too much different. Level 3 onwards was where it really started to get interesting, this was also where the instant respawn started to work for my advantage instead of against me. (Rooms full of blue darknuts so I could regain health.) Level 0 however was really cruel in my eyes, and I had to use up my potion in it. Which wasn't really a bummer since they cost 4 rupees anyway. I liked how item rooms were set up. Being able to see what I was fighting for was great, and when I managed to get it I felt more rewarded than in the built in quests.
This Level 9 is probably my favourite final level I've played, it was well designed and had a interesting gimmick. Also the music was great and I didn't get tired of listening to it. The Ganon battle was pretty pathetic though when I was completely powered up. The Escape sequence was also a nice touch that I enjoyed.
There were some things I didn't like however, especially rooms that just took a long time to get through. (The 10 Gohmas in Level 3 being the outliers.) And knowing I had to fight them for a Key or something similar.
Overall, a very well done quest, and I heavily enjoyed it. I may come back and play the updated version with different bonus levels later on, but right now. It's time for the sequel!
