Welcome to our newest staff...

Posted by HappyPuppet , 05 Jun 2003
Yes, it's me. Happyman.

Now a new age shall begin, an age of... HAPPINESS!

Anyways, I'm the newest on the team. Bow down to my feet and give me great gifts and I shall bestow immortality upon you.

Anyways, only thing I really want to bring attention to is the Shot Board. We haven't had a new shot in about 10 days now. So I'd like to encourage everyone to submit one screen of their most recent work to get it active again.

Quests and Tiles

Posted by Wild Bill , 05 Jun 2003
Today, I've added two new quests for ZC 1.90 by PolygonX8. First off, there's Darknut Wars. And second, Metroid: XL-75. Go play `em.

I've also added some Harvest Moon overworld tiles by FlameArrowStar. Those will, as usual, be found in the Loose Tiles section.

Who's in Chat

Posted by Wild Bill , 04 Jun 2003
I've tweaked Who's Online around a bit. It now shows who is in our chat room. The information is served up from my bot, WildBillBot, so if it is knocked offline, Who's in Chat will go away. Remember that if it's too big for you, you can always move it down to the bottom, or even turn it off, in your site options. I hope that this addition will inspire more of you to come to join us in the chat!

New Quest

I just added Hidden Duality: Director's Cut to the 1.92 quests section. Go check it out.

Manual Account Validation

Posted by Wild Bill , 29 May 2003
I hate to have to do this, but I'm left with no choice. I have decided against banning all AOL users from the server. I have switched our account registration system to manual admin validation. This means that when you register, you must wait for an administrator to activate your account for you.

Why are we doing this? There are a number of people registering multiple accounts and abusing the site. I will not tolerate this anymore, and thus the staff will be carefully watching all new registrations.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. You may all thank people such as Ramiro Negri, Joshua Milton, and sparkrulean, who won't get a life and stop trying to trash the hard work we go through to provide this site for the Zelda Classic community.

Good day.
