More Tiles!

Posted by Wild Bill , 02 Jul 2003
We've got two new additions to the Loose Tiles section today. The first of which is some animated stuff by PolygonX8. I won't bother describing these, as PolygonX8 seems to have done so already. Second, we have a Black Mage Link replacement by MidiMan. Go check them out.

I've also noticed that it won't be very long before our loose tile section has 100 tile sheets. I think this is an amazing accomplishment, and I would like to encourage everyone to keep submitting their tiles so that we can continue to expand our selection of tiles.

Tiles, tiles, and tiles!

3 new sets of loose tiles!

First is by Midiman (whom some of you know as Dechipher). For those who played Zelda 64, remember the exits of secret grottos were beams of light and a square tile? Now you can put these in your quest. They are confusing to use, but they really can touch up a quest.

We also have two things from BH4. First, a complete set of water tiles. These water tiles can be used with ANY floor tile at all. I'm sure at least one of you out there would like this, so go on and get it!

Second, BH4 has submitted a complete set of tower tiles for you to use. They're definitely worth taking a look at, so go on over there; it might be just what you need.

PolygonX8 says hello!

No, he's not staff. It's just that he's submitted two more things for you all.

First off, we have spinning Heart Containers and Heart Container pieces. As if these weren't pretty good themselves, he's offered an entire tile page of tiles from Darknut Wars to you as well. Get over there!

Next, he's submitted a bug fix to his quest Darknut Wars. If you got stuck on that, go redownload and start playing again.

I've created this month's poll. As usual, you can see the results of last month's poll by following the Old Polls link under the current poll.

The chatroom

Apparently, chat is a good place to get ZC help at times. However, there comes a time when you should really consider other sources.

First off, if you are looking for the ZC download, there is no real purpose for going into chat. Look to your left and you will notice a "ZC Downloads" section. If that doesn't work, there is a topic stuck in ZC discussion in the forums with other links. If you have questions about what to download, you can ask then.

Next, I'd like you to realise that we volunteer to help in chat. We cannot be forced into helping you. In other words, don't expect us to answer your question the instant you ask it. Annoying us until we do will most likely never get your question answered.

To sum this up, we are happy to help in chat when we have the time, but please consider that it is a chatroom, thus we are sometimes in the middle of conversations. If noone can help you in chat after asking once or twice, try the forums.
